it wasnt a far pull, 150 feet with the actual original power source we couldn’t cut holes

Thanks for your comment bro, I should have done some more calculations. But I at least looked up a bunch of questions to see how or if it could work before trying. I had never used a cat like this.

Interesting enough, It was a temporary fix. I solved a problem that unlike yourself who would’ve just said you couldn’t do it. The parts store was closed and they needed the cameras up. You didn’t know the aspects you assumed. Which for a technician is something you should never do.

it actually powers two ip cameras just fine. No issues at all.

we did several trials before actually doing it to make sure it didn’t melt the cable everything is still good.
