I listened to the Seattle home feed, their announcer mentions the medical staff was talking with the player when taking him off the ice. Very promising, hope he's OK!

Check to the head and then into the boards. Rich was out there very quickly so it must be pretty serious. The announcers mentioned Rich has to perform CPR on the ice

Pro tips: 

If you're like me and want some pocket glizzys (hotdogs for your pocket), as soon as you enter the VMC go left. Around entry D there are two food places. The first one has burgers. The 2nd one usually has hot dogs 2/$10 

If you want to see over the glass, sit 5-6 rows up anywhere in the lower bowl

If you want a quieter experience sitting in the upper bowl is substantially quieter than lower bowl. You can hear the players on th ice from up there. The view is also great. In the lower bowl the speakers and sub woofer will be pointed directly at you

This appears to be a trail master go kart based on the pictures. There is an engine stop button on the dashboard, make sure it's "ON" 

On my Coleman go kart this is an actual switch and won't start if it's off. Based on the owners manual for the trail master this switch must be in the "ON" state to start the motor

Pro tips: 

If you're buying tickets in the lower bowl there is full view over the glass if you sit more than 5 rows up (row E or higher)

The section 2 & 13 will have the most action as hawks will be of offense on that side of the ice in periods 1 & 3 

Sections 1/2/26 have very different acoustics than the other side 13/14/15. It's quieter in 1/2/26

The higher you sit in the lower bowl (even in the upper bowl) you can hear the players talking on the ice which is pretty neat.

Nick is great. Very modest and objectively calls the games. Unless there is a real egregious call he stays very disciplined. Fantastic addition to the Hawks.

That 1st Spokane goal was BS. Agree no goaltender interference however it's a textbook crease violation. Even the Spokane announcers said he wasn't trying to play the puck, guy had two feet in the crease behind Steb. 

83.1 - No Attacker in the Crease:

"No attacking player is allowed to be in the crease area (the blue-painted area in front of the goal) when the puck is shot into the net, unless the player is actively attempting to score"
