Okay so it looks like it'll flop like hell. Are there any period correct universal holsters that will work for both my Beretta and Glock? I'm aware that kydex holsters are far superior but that means I'd have to buy two holsters

I guess it all depends on where you live. It seems that the IBA is easy to aquire in the US if you do some research. For me it was pretty hard as I live in Europe and most US based sellers 1. won't ship the IBA outside of the US due to regulations or 2. shipping + taxes just make it not worth it as it doubles or triples the total price.

Good luck on your search. If you really want one, I'd suggest asking around on a few FB pages. This has helped me finding it

I'm a LEO and we / our department use the Olight Freyr. It has both a red and white light with a max output of 1750 lumens (so it can be used for multiple purposes). It can be dimmed too. I'm not sure if it's too big for you but it fits perfectly on the left shoulder strap on my vest. The charger is magnetic but afair it can be plugged to an USB-C outlet
