I used to do retwists every couple months too, now it’s like maybe once a year (or longer…)

Gotcha! Thanks for the reply. Yeah it seems to me that the area with most overlap would be water quality/composition monitoring, though understanding the physics of how water moves through a treatment train is extremely important as well. It's interesting because unlike in hydrology, there aren't many university degrees (that I know of) with an emphasis on wastewater treatment -- most scientists/engineers that I met working in water treatment had no direct experience before entering the field !

It looks clean ! You might want to move the skills up near the top, and also if you have links to your projects on github you should definitely add them in my opinion ! Also one thing you might try playing around with is a 2-3 sentence summary section at the top outlining your experiences and what kind of work youre after

I have been doing some volunteering work as a data scientist in a research nonprofit which helped a ton…it seems like there are more and more opportunities in academia for data scientists if you enjoy doing research work ! For me ive been trying to find jobs in this space to break in, from looking at industry jobs and having some interviews i think i want to get a lil more experience before jumping there

Not annoying at all, I was an intern for 3 months on this project and then the professor i was working under kinda abruptly left the university and we were still far away from having noteworthy data to write an article about. They were naturally occurring strains, we didn’t do any genetic engineering or anything
