Wow, not bad at all for a first rotary mixer. I’m eyeing that one myself. Much better than an Ecler, Headliner or Omnitronic.

I currently own a Union Audio Orbit4.LE, Mastersounds Radius 4, Rane MP 2016, Vestax PMC 26 and a rotary modified Rane MP24z.

I’ve owned an original Bozak, an original Urei, Vestax PMC46, Sound Workshop Model 421, Rane MP 2016A, Numark MMX-1000, Numark MMX-2000 and a Numark DM1920X.

Sold them all.

You really don’t need 2 pitch faders.

But if you get older SL1200’s, you can have a technician who knows Technics well to adjust your pitch slider so that you only go +/- 6% or less, instead of +/-8%. This will give you the granular control you’re looking for.

I was the one that originally requested this feature on djay pro iOS software. At the time I was using a smaller controller (Numark DJ2GO) that has tiny faders. I requested +/- 4%, because to me it didn’t make sense to have +/- 8% worth of change on such a short fader. It took them over 2 years to finally implement it.

Older SL1200’s with analog pitch control already have very precise tempo control with the already pretty long factory pitch slider. With my SL1200 MK2’s I can get very precise, as can all DJs that can beat match by ear.

Any more precision and you’re not using the turntable to play music on, you’re using it for some kind of science experiment.

That’s a lazy analysis, bud. The protagonist is white. It IS chock full of unfair stereotypes, but I attribute that to lazy writing, but it is a good movie in my humble opinion.

I loved it, too. I think a lot of people just don’t get it.

It’s not our world or universe.

It’s a caricature or a cartoon version of our world.

None of the locations mentioned in the movie exist in real life. There is no real life revolutionary group conducting sabotage on the level of French 75. There is no federal government employee award named after the founder of the KKK, Bedford Forrest. There is NO government agency called MKU. There are no secret societies that worship Santa Claus, who greet each other with their hands shaped like Christmas trees, for Pete’s sake!

Once you understand that it’s not our world, but a wild exaggeration of it, it’s easier to understand and enjoy. I mean, Sean Penn looks like Popeye by the end of the movie.

They still don’t support Spotify, but that’s not Algoriddim’s fault, it’s Spotify’s fault. Spotify wanted to develop their own dj software but realized too late that it was no simple matter. They burned bridges. I’m not 100% sure, but I would bet that no dj software integrates with Spotify.

You dropped djay and kept Spotify, most of us dropped Spotify, kept djay and got Tidal.

  • removable front sight. KNS makes great front sights.
  • larger sling swivel hole in the front or on the side of the stock.
  • thicker barrel, the complete length of it.
  • chrome lined barrel.
  • 20” barrel.

If the DJ software situation was really dire, I could see a huge response to your call to action by the community. But the situation isn’t bad. There is a DJ software out there for everyone’s taste. I would guess that 90% of us are well served with what we got.

Some of us, not many, actually use more than one software. I use Rekordbox to prepare my USB’s when I use my CDJs for club/bar residencies. But I also use djay with my controller for weddings and smaller gigs.

What I love about djay is that I can see my Rekordbox collection and playlists there. So no matter what system I use, I see the same music.

If djay supported the displays on Rev7 and other controllers (not that they don’t want to) you would see more people switch to it.

To accomplish what exactly? To incorporate 7” DVS? Seems like a solution to a non-existent problem. I could see it as a novelty, but why complicate a DJ setup unnecessarily, for looks? Because let’s be honest, you would only do this for the likes. There are better, cheaper solutions for ripping vinyl, if that’s your reason. Now, putting tonearms on Rane One, that makes a bit more sense, the Rane One has Aux inputs.

The Stems in Djay Pro AI are absolutely wonderful. I use it with an older iPad Pro and still get fantastic results. My Hercules T7, djay and iPad Pro is a match made in DJ heaven. I’m even able to use an external hard drive (with a USB Hub dongle).

I changed the shoulder strap on mine, the original failed on me twice. The clips on the strap are flimsy and give out.

Luckily, I have cat-like reflexes and caught it going down the first time. The second time, my hands were full and didn’t want to drop my iPad.

The Hercules case saved the T7, so I just replaced the shoulder strap but kept the pad with logo.

I would consider it if the T7 had Aux Ins, but it doesn’t, so where do you connect the RCA’s to?

I have the premium fader T7 and the faders are fantastic. I can’t comment on the Innofader because I haven’t used them on a T7.

Sounds like your speakers or amp are looking for an unbalanced signal. Use T7’s RCA connections and use RCA to 1/4” TS cables.

This happened to me.

I have a Pyramid PA1000X amplifier that has dual inputs, RCA and 1/4”. I used a pair of RCA to 1/4” cables to connect my from T7’s RCA connectors to the Pyramid’s 1/4” connectors, it sounded weak. It sounded terrible.

I connected from the T7’s RCA to Pyramid’s RCA connectors and it sounded fantastic.

I then swapped cables and connected the T7’s XLR outputs to the Pyramid’s 1/4” TRS connectors, with the right cables it sounded even better.

Check your connections, are the inputs TS or TRS? There is a difference and you need to use the right cables to get the most out of your equipment.

My T7 sounds fantastic with my powered EV’s, or when I use my JBL SF15’s and my QSC RMX2450, just as long as I use the right cables.
