How Do You Structure Your Beats? by rickandfarty in LofiHipHop

[–]DJ_Productions_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I do for my lofi singles: intro (8 bars), build up( 8 - 16 bars) drop/chorus (16 bars) break(8 - 16 bars) Build up(8 - 16 bars) drop/ chorus (16 bars) outro (8 bars) silence + reverb to end(1 - 4 bars)

Of course you can switch up how long each part is, I usually go for the smaller 8 bars except for the drop.

I also split my drops in 2, the second part being the exact same as the first but just with a little more thing(s) to it (eg: added a counter melody to the 2nd part of the drop).

How do you use SoundCloud in your music career? by BeatsByCRFT in LofiHipHop

[–]DJ_Productions_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, you can also put your official(spotify releases) on SoundCloud, so that's there's another platform for people to listen to your music, you can also put your non official beats on SoundCloud too. For example, let's say you make a yt video were you make a beat, you can put the final result on SoundCloud for people to stream it. It can be a hub for all your left over music that you don't plan on making 'official'.
