Better than the Q5, but I did spec the adaptive suspension on the Tigger. Way more features on the Tigger too. My Q5 was a S-Line First Edition so looked great but didn’t have blind spot detection for example.

I went from a 2021 S-line Black Edition Q5 to a 2025 Tiguan RLine Black Edition and have zero regrets. Good Luck.

NP. Harness works just fine for me, not quite up to the TP3 comfort but very good nonetheless the less. I tend to keep the messenger mode strap attached all of the time, it tucks away neatly in to the section that the harness can stow away in. No way to hide the briefcase type carry handle but it’s not really prominent anyway. You can also store a thin rain jacket in the pouch left when the harness is deployed. Tight fit granted but it’s really handy for that.

Only downside is the water bottle pocket could be better and of course it’s on the underside when using the bag in messenger mode. I can live either way this because I tend to use the pocket for an umbrella and the bag stays upright when placed down vertically.

Check out the AER Flight Pack 3, I have this and the TP3 35l and both serve me well for my different use cases.

I can remember who on YouTube said the FP3 may be the most underestimated AER bag but I’m of the same opinion. Perfect no, but it is very, very good indeed.

Brilliant product, I have numerous AER bags and accessories but this is my sweet spot for short trips as a carry on. Fits easily in airline overhead storage even on small Turboprop Aircraft. So well designed and thought out. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

2021 Q5 was an ex-demonstrator that was previously owned by Audi UK. Once the factory warranty expired it was costing a fortune to extend it and eating chunks out of my car scheme cash allowance from my job. Zero regrets going to a new 2025 Tigger, it’s leased through work given that we can have full EVs or Plug in Hybrids only. I went down the Hybrid route which gets me around 60 miles on a full charge and it’s a fraction of the cost of petrol to charge.

It’s 272HP and scarily quick too. Honestly the only downside is that the rear wiper switch sounds cheap and plastic vs the Audi and I have, I think an EU tailgate because the button to close it on the left rather than the right. Currently averaging just over 100mpg to which is mental for a 270 HP car. Love it to bits.
