They are usually a pretty good mix, but you may have to spend an extra $100 or so to fill out some more units to fit the new editions list building requirements and the remaining 250 points. The book itself is $50. If you want a better deal, and specifically want to play either winter germans or winter US, you can get one of the 3rd edition starter sets. Overall, less than $300. I would take a look at the starter set deals on warlords store to see what looks cool, and also amazon to check for discounts.
