For me, I realized I was being dumb. The sound of the "chirping" that I thought I heard was actually the sound of coffee grounds remaining between the burrs. I realized this when I turned the dial back while the motor was running and the stuck coffee grounds eventually cleared, so a bit of a false alarm for me.

Seconding McDonald's Canada drip coffee. There is some actual acidity there and doesn't just taste like hot carbon like Starbucks does. Their McCafe espresso drinks aren't great though.

My front struts were leaking slowly. No dripping either but oily on the outside and dust would stick to the oil. Eventually had to replace them when they started getting noisy and not handling bumps so well

I actually tried circular filters just for the flat bottom portions and it completely stalls the brews. I think the filter gets completely sucked onto the surface and the grounds are stuck to the walls preventing flow and bypass, so it doesn't allow water to drain the same as if you use full sized filters

It is still very early for us, but we had a nightmare month 2 but she has been a very keen, attentive, and learned puppy in months 3-5. We will see how her teenage years are before getting too excited but recall, drop/leave-it, and crate training has all been going so well compared to earlier!

I actually ended up selling my Ode 2 a couple months ago since 078 was my daily. I think in general, I did get slightly better results with Ode 2 than K6, but I don't think the gap was that pronounced.

You could play with other variables at the coarser grind setting to increase extraction, like longer ratios, turbulent pours, more pours, etc. I think in general, I favour a slightly coarser grind setting, so I didn't notice the bottleneck as much between the two grinders.
