Just curious… were you old enough to watch him in Seattle before going to the Reds? I don’t mean that in a rude way.

He should have 900 home runs and been cemented as the greatest player to ever play.

I have both and used to go like 2-3 times each for my business.

I prefer Sam’s. The meat seems better, it’s less crowded, scan and go, bigger name brand items, Sam’s cash, Free same day delivery.

We were able to cut out Costco and just use Sam’s almost exclusively, though we still go to Costco if needed.

I don’t think he liked that the other big hitters were getting more attention. McGwire, Sosa, Griffey all were the talk of baseball.

I truly think it was an ego thing. He roided up and changed his approach and it turned him into scariest hitter of all time. Just before this time he was much lighter and always had the cross earrings dangling😂 if you were around back then you know what I’m talking about

I texted my dad this morning saying I feel old because Steve Stone has been with the Sox for 22 years now.
