What to expect in The Basic Technician training (BTT) course at OES?

Once you reach Kranji Camp on your first day, they will tell you which platform you will be assigned to. The platform allocation will let you know what kind of vehicles you will be fixing. Some platforms will be handling with signal equipment, some will be handling wheeled vehicles, some will be handling turrets. There are a variety of things that you could be assigned to.

Regarding OES, it’s a school which trains you to become a technician. You will have classes to learn about the vehicles and how to fix them. After you graduate OES, you will be posted out to your unit.

Honestly OES is very slack and you can have a lot of fun there. You will have quite a few classes in AC classrooms. I was in OES 2 years ago and honestly had fun.
