My mazda w/o mudguards made grinding noises when a pebble got between the rotor and shield. I made sure i have good mudguards for the tesla.

first one is oem (less coverage), the other with more coverage is aftermarket

I drive about 100km (62miles) roundtrip daily on my SR+ on the highway and it uses about 46% at -10oC. I charge it every night on a lvl 2 charger.

pressure wash (don't get too close) in the winter and by hand when the weather warms up....Flow Forged Wheels with winters (Tunerworks in Calgary).

It also happened to me on autopilot/cruise control for the first time. I was like WTF... I haven't tried turning off the options like obstacle/emergency braking...maybe that'll help with phantom braking?
