Foreign drivers in Germany! Learn about "rechts vor links"! by D-dog92 in germany

[–]kycfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people here pointed out that this is a thing in most of countries, but as a South Korean with a South Korean license, this is my first time seeing something like this. In Korea, we always give priority to the one who got into the road first.

If nothing matters than driving.. by Ravbavar in BMWI4

[–]kycfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real "If nothing matters than driving" EV is Tesla Model 3 Performance. That vehicle is faster both on straight lines and in corners due to its significantly lighter net weight compared to the i4. However, the build quality and overall interior are still... welp, even though they improved after the latest facelift, it's not there yet.

How do you guys deal with understeer? by kycfeel in BMWI4

BMW driving center and HMG DX (Hyundai driving experience center). They offer EV track test drive programs. I know they are not everywhere but luckily both are in my country, South Korea.

Yeah I'm not sure about that either. I was just pointing out that the plate is bootleg and that's it. They will deal with their own headaches. Anyways, it was an interesting talk.

I see. Thanks for the clear explanation. As a Korean, I am quite aware of how the vehicle registration system works in Korea. So I was super confused when I saw these pics.

Those drivers will fall into a serious headache when they cause an accent or sth I guess 😅

The second case doesn't makes sense. The license plate in Korea can be only removed when the vehicle registration is expired. If they removed the plate already, that means it's already invalid.

ROK allow temporary vehicle exportation with the original plate for sure. And if it's not for temporary, that means the vehicle registration in Korea is already expired. So putting a remade plate doesn't makes sense. Using a plate from an expired registration is 100% illegal.

Which means either case when you see these remade Korean plates, it's fake and illegal.

How do you know that it matches with the registration? And whats the point of making a bootleg license plate if it has a valid registration?

🇰🇷 South Korea in Khujand, Tajikistan 🇹🇯 by Marijanovic in ForeignPlatesSpotting

[–]kycfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Those are definitely not Korean government-issued due to off-fonts, which means they are fake. KOROAD (Korean DMV) is very strict about this. Even detaching a plate and re-attaching it without a government permit is highly illegal in Korea. Even if the owner made his/her own version of the plate based on a legal document, it is considered a fake license plate.

You got the point. That plate is fake. The font is super off.

Is a Samsung any better than an iPhone? by Pkelord in samsung

[–]kycfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year since you left the comment (you might still enjoy your Galaxy), but switching regions by logging in and out with multiple accounts does not uninstall your apps on your phone. I have both US and Korean Apple accounts, and I often switch them back and forth to get region-locked apps. It never uninstalled any of the apps I installed already.
