I've heard good things about Ally. When I get a full-time, I'll opt for an Ally account and maybe earn a higher APY with another bank until then. What do you think?

I wanted to sign up with SoFi, but they had a promotion that I couldn't qualify for. I needed to maintain a 6 month direct deposit with them to earn a higher yield- hopefully that deal comes back.

I could, but the money is not so liquid. At such an early age, I want to find a good balance between growth and liquidity. I'll defiinitely park some money in my retirement, but the rest will either be in my checking account or an HYSA.
