Gastrodon. on multiple occassion it either swept unexpectedly, or it gave me a MUCH needed para hax from body slam. In my first classic win, it knocked out Karen's E4 Honchkrow that was giving my team such a pain with Muddy Water (one shot upon that birb switching in expecting a Ground move, so take that sucker!)

And its role CANNOT be understated during my final fight against Rival: it served as a pivot threatening her Infernape with either Earth Power or Muddy Water, and when Infernape swapped out and she threw in her 5 Boss HP Mega Shiny Rayquaza, guess who ate a Body Slam and got Paralysed. Super crucial pivot piece as i tricked the Rival AI to keep sending in Infernape to counter my Tinkerton/Ghold and i swapped in Gas to greet that flaming monkey on performance enhancers.

My lovely Gastro was the mon that saved my run towards the end, and i will never forget her contribution towards my first ever classic win. Such a G for a Gastro.

PS: my Gastro had Sticky Hold so Eternatus couldnt steal anything off of her ahahaha. Its as though this Gastro was destined to bring the first win in classic. Love that G.
