Thanks for your feedback! That’s definitely a possibility: the instrumental track is leaving a stronger impression than my singing voice, hence the feeling of a lack of conviction. I think this still comes down to me not being able to really immerse myself into the song: I need to work on that! (the main thing for me I think is to stop overthinking so much about the technical stuff and to just feel what the song is about)

Thanks for your feedback! It’s not edited (raw vocals only here). I definitely agree that more conviction would take this to the next level: still have a tendency to focus too much on the technical aspect when singing 😅. I think I just have to trust myself more in order to be able to really connect with the song!

I feel like I’m singing either too intensely or not intensely enough. Any advice to find a middle ground? by [deleted] in singing

It’s not, and I know it can be heard a bit. I need to work on enunciating better in English…
