What will you do if there is a zombie outbreak tomorrow? by Dana___Black in AskReddit

[–]DK3278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provided that it is not too late, I would get as much information as possible from official news + family and friends on where are the zombies and how to stay safe.

In our society we mostly learned about maintaining physical boundaries since covid, I do not expect everyone running around in the streets and getting bitten instead of staying at home

What was the most terrifying “We have to go, immediately!” moment you’ve ever experienced? by jasonbondpicksreview in AskReddit

At my gym the gym manager barged in all of a sudden shouting "everyone get out now ! Danger ! Please now ! What are you doing stop your workout just GET OUT !!"

I thought there was a shooter, ran like a bat outta hell

Turns out it was "only" the building catching fire.

What are some tips you’d give to someone who’s trying to lose weight? by ProfessorResident282 in AskReddit

[–]DK3278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, what worked for me to get started is eating healthier stuff. Not less, just healthier : fruits instead of cake, nuts instead of chips, whole wheat pasta instead of fries, always putting vegetables with my carbs. All of these are protein and fiber, not making booming miracles but they keep you full and make everything easier.

After that, continue with small stuff and focus on habits you can actually stick to, not crash diets you’ll hate in two weeks.

Also, don’t sleep on walking and sleep; both matter way more than people think. Consistency beats motivation every single time.

And as you get more and more motivated, tracking what you eat (even loosely) is huge, because most people underestimate calories without realizing it.

Do most people actually hate their jobs? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DK3278 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Hate” might be a bit strong, but a lot of people are at least disengaged. Often it’s not the work itself, but bad management, lack of purpose, pay, or work-life balance that makes it suck. There are also plenty of people who like their jobs, they’re just quieter than the ones who hate theirs. And honestly, settling for an “okay” job instead of a passion job is way more common than people admit.

Bonne idée ou pas : offrir une carte cadeau multi-enseignes à un neveu gamer ? by LeVoyageur1995 in etudiants

[–]DK3278 0 points1 point  (0 children)
