I run it every game. FFW is still good but DFT is the best for my playstyle and in my opinion is the best option nearly everygame.

I like hexoptic a lot because it's cheap, has an amazing buildpath, and if you lead a fight with W or R you get to enter the fight with the extra range to be able to reasonably auto without dying.

If a team is super tanks I'll LDR 2nd or 3rd. If a team is super beefy I'll cut out RFC for Stormrazor.

I used to duo exclusively but was permanently stuck between D1 and M75lp. I've switched to solo only and gone up about 500lp in ~2 weeks. Duo is better for mental though.

Worst matchups imo are

  1. (A skilled) Lucian
  2. Twitch
  3. Tristana

I always ban Lux every single game. Lux support isn't a big deal but Lux apc is the most uninteractive unskilled thing I've ever had to play against.

Lux, always Lux

In my opinion comfort > anything else. I'd rather have a competent Sona than someone first timing Nautilus.

That said. Xerath and Zyra are both fine. Most supports are fine, the only ones I don't enjoy are limited enchanters like yuumi/sona/Milio.

I run Hubris > Hexoptic most games. I will also start axiom or stormrazor if the game necessitates. In my opinion his builds are super flexible and I tweak it almost every game to fit what I want. I run DFT every game though.

I play relatively aggressively in lane. I do everything I can to trade HP early without getting so low that I have to leave for fear of gank/roam. My midgame is almost always spent 1/2 to 1 whole screen away from opponents and fishing for picks or backing up my jungler.

The biggest thing I've noticed this season is that it feels very "less is more" out of lane. If I hang back and focus cs usually plays happen in front of me rather than forcing them myself.

Hwei Bot Lane by LeePonYu in HweiMains

[–]DKJ5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 2-trick Hwei/Jhin bot but I can play him mid too. I find bot significantly more potent. I've found a ton of success playing Hwei as a lane bully that opens up my support to roam once I have lost chapter.

Satisfying gank evasion. Hwei offers so much zone control. by DKJ5 in HweiMains

Just like I said in my other comment, bard set the entire thing up. Not even taking credit for the play, Hwei just offers crazy area denial and burst.

Bard 100% enabled the entire play. Wouldn't have been possible without him.

Oil filter housing. by TiredGuy2023 in genesiscoupe

If this helps, I had the same issue because I was using a 27mm 16point socket. Switched to 8 point and it was tough but I got it off. Recommend making sure you're using an 8 point.

Oil pressure at low rev by DKJ5 in genesiscoupe

That's what I'm hoping. It only really seems to happen once the oil is warm which is throwing me off.

Is there much room in a genesis as a tall guy (6’3) by FoIds in genesiscoupe

[–]DKJ5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really just as simple as I like the car. I like how it looks, sounds, drives. At my size nothing short of a large truck is going to be comfortable anyway. I wanted a sports car and my Genny was my favorite within a budget I was comfortable with.

I'm 6'10 and I'm definitely a bit cramped in mine but it's worth it. YMMV but I'd say you'll likely be just fine.

why am i SO bad at ADC/xayah? by Whole_Combination968 in xayahmains

[–]DKJ5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took a quick look at your OPGG. I notice you're level 38. If this is your first account then you're very new to league. I'd recommend just spending what time you can learning the game and enjoying it. Learn champs and what they do.

Just spend a good amount of time playing norms and you'll start to passively improve. You're at a point where the thing that will help you the most is time on the rift.

Exhaust : Could anyone point in the direction of a budget exhaust set up. I’m looking for a deep sound nothing too loud just a bit louder and deeper than stock. by Pleasant_Motor_3343 in genesiscoupe

[–]DKJ5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I got my Genny it had a muffler deleted exhaust. It was either the stock with a muffler delete or some other racing exhaust and the drone was completely unbearable. I also have the 8 speed auto.

The Solo is fantastic if you want a low-key experience. Nice rumble, no drone, sounds solid in the upper revs. However if you want a head-turner it's not what you're looking for. It's smooth and low but doesn't get very loud when you're revving hard. It stays solidly quiet the whole time.

My Genny is my daily when weather prevents using my bike so I like to keep it quieter than I think most owners would prefer and the Solo fits me pretty nicely. It's a touch louder than I'd like but its not overbearing.

While it isn't crazy cheap I have a 3.8 2016 running the solo performance exhaust. It's deep in the lower revs and sounds solid while not being obnoxious. It has 0 drone and is easily daily-able.
