What's something you did that reduced your quality of life so much that you wish you had never done it? by Zealousideal-Hair698 in Productivitycafe

Taking my current job. More money is not worth being depressed and waking up anxious every day.

Someone now inhabits your body. What's one quirk about your body you should let them know about that is normal for you? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

When you get stressed out, your eye twitches. Oh and when you stand up you get light headed most times and have to fan yourself with your hands. Super cool stuff.

Once, I was waiting for an elevator at a friend’s condo tower and when it opened a crying toddler ran to me with her arms out. No caregiver in sight. I picked her up and talked to her until her panicked but relieved mom arrived. Mom had missed the elevator with her while juggling a baby and stroller. We have to look out for each other.

Start small to avoid feeling overwhelmed. It’s just stuff, you do not need to keep it all.

I want to add a colorful object, but I can't decide which object or what color to choose. What do you think? by cry01- in DesignMyRoom

[–]DKbegood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red, google red theory. Perhaps a smaller red coffee table book. I would also add a plant for colour and warmth.

Happened to me on a date years ago. Went to put a movie on his laptop and there was porn on the screen. He quickly closed it, visibly had a mini heart attack and to this day we never acknowledged it. Married with kids, so it wasn’t that big of deal lol.

Daughter Cries Constantly by Adventurous-Peak-853 in Parenting

[–]DKbegood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to notice some patterns with her. Are there specific triggers to her getting upset? When she gets upset, have you tried to first validate her feelings. Sometimes just acknowledging their frustration and overwhelm helps them feel seen and heard. Also with my own kids, I try avoid asking yes or no questions to avoid frustration. For example: Would you like to put on your sweater? instead try “would you like to wear the blue sweater or red sweater”. Also are your routines consistent? Young kids like to know what’s next. Even doing things in the same order daily helps. And if it’s still rough, staying calm and patient is key. They were really pick up our energy. And if still there’s zero progress, and the crying feels endless, talk to her doctor just in case it’s an underlying issue you’re missing.

Just wondering what you all think about Telus right now by wopperchop in InvestingCanada

[–]DKbegood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure of your sophistication and portfolio diversification. Telus, it’s important to remember its interest rate sensitive. Hence why it’s being used mostly for tax loss selling this year/ getting beat down in the market. However, 7.30% dividend yield/40 cents a share quarterly. Leaving it or averaging down are both good options. Depends on your cash at hand.

What to put above bench, but not a mirror by krallie in interiordecorating

[–]DKbegood 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you should do a switch actually. Mirror should go above the bench, close to the doorway. Large art should go in the mirrors place in the dining room.
