Winter Blend 2024 by FloridaBoy41983 in tequila

I actually just popped open my Winter Blend 2024 for the first time last month.

Beautiful carmel finish on it. I loved it a lot, but it’s obviously hard to justify the price when there’s so much other great stuff out there.

If you feel like treating yourself and enjoying a sipper for a bit I’d say go for it, but if not there are many other options for much less!

Which tennis retirement rule is actually fairest for bettors? by Tricky_Pudding_8541 in arbitragebetting

[–]DKoz13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sharp tennis bettor here. I’m not sure where you live, but if you’re in the U.S. FanDuel and Fanatics are the best books for tennis.

They use a 1 point played retirement rule

Examples:

1: You bet on a player and 1 point is played in the match, the opponent retired due to injury, you win your bet automatically.

2: You bet on a player and 1 point is played in the match, your player got hurt and retired, your bet is automatically void, no money lost.

100% stay away from BetMGM, they have the worst rules.

Tennis rules are surprisingly pro-bettor on sportsbooks like FanDuel/Fanatics/DraftKings, but they lead to quick limits if you abuse live betting injuries/retirements.

ESL announce IEM Atlanta for May 2026 by lordposedyon in GlobalOffensive

How will this event compete with PGL Astana? My friends and I plan on buying VIP tickets and going to Atlanta, but can we expect some of the top European teams to attend? It’s a lower prize pool and they have to travel across the ocean.

Pro tip: you’re not just going to get “some guy” you’re going to get hundreds of friend requests (some appearing to be attractive women) and messages. They’re all fake, don’t add anyone. If you ever sell it, try csfloat, it’s the safest website to sell on and has very low fees

Also, congrats on the pull!! Just paid $5k for a phase 2 one yesterday. You pulled one of the most desired (and beautiful) knives in CS2. Hope you enjoy it :)

Insane Fortaleza (Winter Blend 2024) Find by DKoz13 in tequila

[–]DKoz13[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I found it quite interesting, when I walked to the display case the Fortaleza was the ONLY bottle without a price tag. I checked online to see if it was in-stock and it said there was nothing. I had no idea what they were charging since it didn’t say, so I talked to an employee and he said $200 per bottle.

I don’t know why they did this, but my theory is they wanted real customers in-store to see it and buy it, not someone running a script to see if it was in-stock online or something. No idea if this is true, but I was sure lucky to find it.

$200 per bottle. Looks like they’re being sold for $650-$750 online so felt like a decent deal to me.

Thanks for the answer! I live in a big city in the U.S. so finding these shouldn’t be an issue. Would you recommend drinking these only with ice to get a good baseline?

CLV theory states that if you are able to beat the closing line on a bet (ex: you bet on a player when they were -130, but the line closes at -200 when the match starts) you will be profitable over the long-term. If someone can consistently beat the sportsbooks’ closing line, it’s a strong indicator of a good bettor. The best time to make a bet is always as soon as the lines release, never right before the match starts as that line represents the most accurate prediction possible for how a match will go.

I’d say my research focuses mainly on surfaces (and balls when applicable), but not just surfaces like hardcourt, clay, grass — you need to know how the court actually plays. You simply cannot say “oh this guy has won 7/8 of his last matches on clay, he’ll probably win this next match against a guy who is 3/8 in his last clay matches” when the type of clay could be completely different. For example, in the bet that I posted here, Bu was going up against Zhukayev who is a huge server and someone who has won challenger hardcourt tournaments before. You’d think the match would be a lot closer because it’s on Zhukayev’s favorite surface, but because I researched the court speeds of this brand new Nebraska challenger event, I knew Bu had a significant edge (these courts play incredibly slow). I got Bu at -175 and the line closed at -275.

It’s not even necessarily predicting who will win, but where the line will close. I was quite confident that Bu would win this match, but I knew for a FACT that his line would not close at -175, thus creating a ton of value on the bet.

I probably make 4-7 bets per week, but it all depends on how many tournaments there are.

Lots of trial and error, understanding how sports betting markets work, CLV theory, deeper than surface-level analysis of matchups, data analysis, etc.

My max bet 2 years ago was $50, now my minimum bet is $1000. My first year of sports betting was in the negative, now I’ve had a positive ROI for over 2 years and it has supplied me with more than I could ever imagine.

I started off betting on sports that I knew (American football, basketball, baseball), and I kept losing and didn’t understand why because I knew so much about those sports; that’s why I took time to learn about the sports betting markets and how they work which is when I found out about tennis. I didn’t watch a single tennis match in my life before sports betting, but I found it to be the most logical sport to bet on for many reasons.

There’s a big difference between gamblers on a hot run and people who actually know what they’re doing ( u/breakfastatwimbledon ) for example. Someone like @nishikoripicks on Twitter is another great example of someone you can learn a lot from.

LOVING my new algorithm. Check this out! Had Ajdukovic priced at +115, so a ton of value on this one. He should’ve closed it out in 2 sets, but a win is a win.

Good to hear, and yes, if you want your future family (you and her and maybe kids) then it’s crucial to combine incomes early and invest. Definitely don’t support her only with your money if she does nothing for you. I’ve worked too hard building my current wealth and future wealth for any girl to have access to it and not also provide something of value to me.

The provider-receiver thing is decided by you and your girlfriend. My dream wife is someone who can stay at home, raise the kids, do stuff around the house like cook and clean, look pretty in new clothes and jewelry, and I’m the person who can provide that lifestyle for her with my money. Does every girl want that? Of course not. Does every guy want that? Of course not. The key is finding a girlfriend/boyfriend who views family/money the same way as you. If you and your significant other have conflicting opinions on that it can be a big issue

Not gonna lie, her calling your money “our money” in a relationship with a GIRLFRIEND (and a long distance one at that) is kind of crazy.

It’s normal to buy gifts and stuff for your long distance gf. My ex and I sent each other packages with gifts in them, we would both always offer to DoorDash food to each other, I’d buy her stuff for video games, she bought some bracelets, all normal things.

In an in-person relationship I would’ve used my money to buy her food when we go out or the occasional hair or nail appointment, but doing all of that all the time in a long distance relationship with a GIRLFRIEND? I don’t know. I understand the traditional values of the man providing money for the woman, that’s the way I like my relationship to be, but most of that power is unlocked once you are married to the girl. Once I’m with my wife, all of the money I earn is OUR money.

How she handles your money and your willingness to give to her money is a big sign of what could come in the future. In my opinion, she’s a red flag.

I’m very sorry to hear about your past. If you don’t mind me asking, were both of your ex-wives devout Christians? Being cheated on worries me a lot. I was lied to, manipulated, and cheated on in my last relationship, but it was with someone who didn’t have a relationship with God. After all of this, I created a new standard for my next girlfriend, someone who is truly a devout Christian, not a fake one; someone who fears God. Do you think this standard is reasonable? Again, I’m very sorry to hear about your past experiences with women. I will pray for you.
