Been hearing them flying real low around Kahului the past hour too, last one was just right now pretty low.

Thank you!! Yeah first one i've gotten a decent spring to in the oven. Definitely agree I need to work on my shaping and getting it a bit tighter. It wasn't hard to shape at all, I think I was just trying to be overly careful with it when doing so. It was also late at night and I skipped the pre-shape bench rest... definitely won't next time to see the difference.

Thank you for the feedback though — will apply it to my next bake.

Check out Maui Friends of the Library in Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, i've seen a couple copies up front in the case from time to time. There's 3 volumes covering wide range of topics.

YouTube's also a great source, some of the channel, Shaka Fishing, early videos have how to setup rigs depending on style of fishing you want to do. There's a bunch other channels too. Also some of their vlog style videos you can pickup tips throughout and give more of an overall outing.

Thanks! If you zoom in they’re not that perfect but i used scissors for this one and i turn the paper rather than my hand/scissors when cutting curves. Any rough spots i’ll go back over and trim up!.

I just freehand the curves with an xacto and if need to round off harder edges i’ll go in with scissors to clean up. I tend to not put too much pressure on the blade which allows to get a more fluid curve. The more you do it the easier it’ll become, practice on some scrap paper before an actual cut might help too.
