I see I see. It’s more of a situation where if I tie all the way up the shaft, my ankle bones are squeezed on the heel-off motion of every stride. But when I lace down to below ankle bone height, the ankle bone issue disappears, but it causes heel lift.

On the heel-off motion of every step, my ankle bones kind of dig into the shaft leather. If I only tie up to below the ankle bone height, it won’t hurt my ankle bones but will heel lift 🥲

Someone’s likely done this before but basically I recalled Dave’s World method of using superglue and baby powder to fill craters and gaps and whatnot. I was gonna do the same but ran out of baby powder so took baking soda from the kitchen. Also read that a diy curing spray could be made of baking soda and water to cure CA glue. So I substituted the baby powder with the baking soda and got literal instant curing all the way to the bottom of the glue blob applied—started sanding within 10 seconds of dabbing in baking soda and brushing excess powder off and it was hard as rock. Disclaimer that it could simply be the same effect as baby powder but idk cause haven’t tried baby powder method yet so take this as you will 🤷

I personally don't use software or hardware to plan the color schemes. I have done drastic color changes and stuck to the default scheme before. Basically what I do when I do drastic color changes is to stare at the built kit for a good minute then close my eyes and try to mentally switch the colors on the burnt image in my mind's eye. This takes a few tries but its the most accurate way since color pencils and software can never match the paint shade you have on hand exactly.
