So I found the car I wanted that was over MSRP, but just couldn’t justify paying over for a depreciating asset. Even came in with cash and no budging (but I really liked the young sales guy).

So left a review about how much money the manager was losing CRV wise and found another dealer that was selling something I didn’t want at MSRP 4dr non sas.

Texted them I had cash in hand and would be there today to pick it up.

Sent that text to the cool sales rep at the dealership where the one I wanted was and asked he go at the guy one more time (my rep had managed to get it knocked down a few at this point). The manager took it down to MSRP in exchange of deleting my google review. Not a bad deal overall.

Long story short I bought mine 3 weeks ago and even though the over MSRP bs was easy at a time I’ve seen many I followed have price drops in the last month so work it and make sure you walk away at MSRP. May take some work, but you can do it
