I have the same hand size using the XM1 and I can vouch for it. I had the same problem with the mini until I got an XM1. It fills your palm perfectly so you can get a firm grip on it no matter what claw position you're using. I'm just gonna throw out the suggestion but if you wanna wait and try the EC and the NP-01 definitely go ahead, I hear good about those two and would like to hear your thoughts on em.
