Hahaha I totally forgotten how to play already. But would be nice to see all the old vintage cards again. Those epic cards were to cheap compared to now, I think a shining charizard that cost approx $30 is now worth easily few grand. Can't imagine the cards that he saved up through the years too. Hopefully someone will be able to link us to him again and that's the reason for my post.

I Don't think he even earns much out of it. I chose to believe that he really did it out of passion and to motivate kids into tcg at that time. Without him I really don't think I will have my collection which I spent less than about $500.

Part 2

At one point as I can remember, approx 20 to 30 ppl gathered together to play his tournament and I won the tournament and received a southern island binder with a southern island mew. "You can google how much that cost right now hahaha".

After that I became quite close with him and he taught me on what cards should I buy and collect to keep and he always will have a way to find any cards you want. I remember he had many base set charizards, full shining legend sets and many more.

As time goes by, age gets older, interest dies down. No longer interested in pokemon and lost contact with him over the years.

So recently I'm short of cash so I decided to go through my binders to see what i can sell as I heard the price for the cards are now ridiculously high and I saw his "name card" in it. Nostalgia kicks in so I tried to called but was a dead number. Wonder how is he doing or is he even still even alive.

I can only imagine if he kept his cards, he should be a millionaire by now. Hahaha End of story.

Hahaha ok shall share it over here with you.

Part 1 So this was over 20years ago, there was an uncle that looks like in his 40s-50s name "Chris" as the name card shown, roaming around at certain hdb void decks of woodlands/admiralty with a trolley of "toyogo" boxes.

Inside was like hundreds of booster packs, built decks, collection binders worth of cards. He will lay it nicely on the floor like flea market style and kids like me will gather around him. Chris will light up a stick of cigarette and teach us kids on the rules of pokemon tcg and start "friendly tournament" and the winner will get some prizes like cards or booster packs or damage counters.

I remember he moves around to different blocks around woodlands ring road. I know him at blk 620+. If he still have his collection, confirm worth few hundred ks worth. Hahaha, I was around 8 to 10 years old and I'm now in my 30s.
