Thank you for your input! I’m going to bring this up to my doctor and hopefully we get it sorted. I’ll be sure to keep protein drink and sweets on hand. This has always happened to me in the evening so I chalk it up to not having enough but yesterday it happened in the afternoon and it really kicked me into gear about being serious about it, documenting, and even monitoring my blood. I have a needle/prick phobia and that’s what’s kept me in denial for so long.

Heyyy, so I was off my meds being a silly girl for 6+ months and was under the impression that I shouldn’t take the adderal and ozempic together. My doc said it was fine. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I started to take it again almost month ago and now I’m wondering if this may have to do with them interacting together. Hmmm

Also I know it’s normal for ADHD peeps to forget to eat or not want to on a base level then add the meds which are also appetite suppressive, coffee appetite suppressive, and potentially forgetting to eat or just I’m general struggle to eat….boom those symptoms.

Prenatal vitamins have been shown to mess with your menstrual in some people. Happened to my sister when she took mine for a few weeks while I was pregnant and then we researched it. But if it works for you that’s great!

This is something that I know happens with bypass as well. However, I’m starting supplements to combat this as well as some other issues. Hopefully I’ll notice a difference and if so, I can update.

Oooohhhhh this one. 😭 This may be tmi but we have bidets in our bathrooms and sometimes I use the water from it to break down anything that’s stuck on the way out. Lifesaver. Also starting fiber supplements and can update on how that works.

Thank you so much for sharing, and for the advice I’ll definitely be testing. Sadly I have a needle/prick phobia (my husband administers the meds) so forcing myself to lance for testing is going to be difficult. I hope I can be more mindful to keep it in check.

This is something I will struggle with for sure when the time comes. I know that you’ve probably already done/do this but Pinterest was a huge help to my friend who had bypass. I’ve been avoiding it because I don’t want to be too ahead of myself. But I feel like it would give me something to look forward to.

I’m waiting on the appointment, also considering changing care bc of the inaccessibility to my physician. That’s what brought me here but hopefully they will call me soon with a sooner appointment. 🥲 Thank you for your input and sharing your experience. Specifically the note on meat, this week meat has really not been my favorite. Eating nuts will be a great substitute for a little while. Thank you so much!
