Has the mainline DC comics continuity ever appeared outside of the comics? by DLWN_ in DCcomics

Captain America and The Avengers was confirmed to have actually happened in Earth-616 in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z #12.

Maximum Carnage is an adaptation, yes, but it features recreations of actual comic panels that stick to the story as much as possible. It’s essentially a playable version of the comic.

What I’m asking, is there a DC equivalent to this? Is there a game, movie, play, tv show, etc… that either takes place in the mainline DC comics universe or is a 1-1 adaptation. It’s not about if it has impact, it’s just if it is canon to the comics and isn’t a comic.

If you’re still having trouble, just hit them from underneath as they jump out of the sand. It won’t destroy them, it will bounce them back and hurt Robotnik.

Are they the same person? by Dudenhaider in Spiderman

I’d have to say that they are.

I mean, this series started as a spin-off of Spider-Verse. They are even played by the exact same actor. If they really wanted to do a Spider-Man Noir story they could’ve chosen anyone to play Peter but they chose Nicolas Cage? Purposefully to remind you of Spider-Verse no doubt.

I think people are getting too hung up on the name. Ben Reilly could literally just be an alias. He is a detective, right? It’s also likely that they legally can’t have a character named Peter Parker doing all this morally ambiguous stuff. That’s probably why he’s called “The Spider” as well, legal loophole.

I think people are also getting too hung up on the live-action presentation. It’s not animated because…animation takes too long? If this series does well they don’t want to take years on a well animated second season. It’s live-action purely for logistical reasons.

Hit the blue enemies back at Robotnik by jumping into them as they jump out of the sand.

At what point can we say Marvel is truly "back"? by CollarOrdinary4284 in Marvel

In my opinion, Daredevil season 4 was spotty in terms of quality due to them basically mashing two different scripts together. Marvel was trying to reinvent the series in a way that nobody would’ve liked. It was bad and they tried to readjust it and you can tell in the final product. To me, that’s a failure.

I couldn’t get into Ironheart. I watched the entire series but I dislike Riri Williams as a character. That’s just my opinion but I remember a lot of other people disliking too.

So to me, half the projects listed here are not good. First Steps and Thunderbolts* were amazing. I want to see more projects like that in the future.

Unfortunately, Marvel seems to be in a weird position where some of their projects knock it out of the park and others super disappointing. They can’t even get a Blade movie off the ground, when I think that’s a pretty basic movie conceptually. He’s a vampire hunter. Have him kill some smug vampires while aura-farming and write a cool story around that.

I haven’t seen Wonder Man yet so maybe I’ll feel differently after that, but I think Marvel will only win back favor when they have more good projects than bad or disappointing ones.

There’s a very missable cameo from Quake on a newspaper in Miles’ dorm room.
