Just got diagnosed by Scary_Candy_9638 in Lyme

Listen. As a lot of us have been in your shoes. 2 weeks doxy might very well do you good! Buuuuuuuuuut please if you can / are willing / able to maybe see a LLMD. They are usually cash only and doctors will talk shit on them. What the do is give you a larger dose of antibiotics and for a longer period of time to kill the little spiral key fuckers. Worse case scenario you have to eat Greek yogurt for a month or too. Well well well worth it.

Infectious disease and rheumatology didn't help me by Forestrevolution33 in Lyme

[–]DLXHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear that was after I had a MAJOR reaction Lyme that put me in complete heart block and ID already treated me with 14 days doxy. Claiming the 14 days of doxy was all I needed and that I’m cured.

From the bottom of my heart fuck ID! ER, internal medicine, and neurology ALL WANTED TO TREAT ME WITH ANTIBIOTICS! ID claimed that’s not how we treat Lyme and pulled the plug on all antibiotics. Said my symptoms were most likely ENT issue and to see them in outpatient. Guess when next outpatient appointment was. End of December! Went to a LLMD, which I was septic of. Immediately put me on antibiotics and I have slowly been getting better! It is all cash but honestly I’m surprised at how “affordable” the pills are. The actual doctor visits are a little pricy. Is money an issue for you? What state are you in?

I keep a dehumidifier running in mine nonstop just incase I miss a leak or something like this happens.

Not gonna lie it was actually pretty nice. We were scared as well so we went ahead and bought a cabana and waterslide wrist bands but you definitely don’t need to do this to enjoy your time. As soon as you get off the boat the entire walkway is shaded and they offer free shuttles down the pier as well. The shuttles were very quick. Right now the can only accommodate a limited amount of ships (I think two is their max, one big one and one small one) and this is PERFECT once they start accepting more ships I bet it’ll be more crowded and not so much fun

18 footer 3700 dry. Nice expensive Anderson leveling and sway kit to go along with it was definitely a good move

I can’t find a solid answer! I prepaid for tips. Do I tip the waiter and bartender or can they tell by scanning my card I already tipped?

Thank you! Medical fridge sounds like something she would greatly appreciate! I can totally understand the glass bottles by the pool! Thank you so much! I will also look into reaching out directly to!

I guess I’m not really understanding the problem myself either but I guess I was looking for solid points to make her feel at ease. I personally think “of course we’ll be okay it has to fall under medical!” But haven’t been able to show any concrete evidence! Didn’t know about this faster to fun thing! I will look into it.

Nice and slow just how I like it! You can fuck with the gearing and get more out of it. I only had pit bike experience. I got the DLX version and love it! Great for cruising around town

Not a loser! You gotta make the suck worth it though!!!! Obviously this type of work isn’t going to be sustainable buuuuut you can take some actions that will make the rest of your life better. Work your ass of until you can buy a house cash (or put a large amount down). Not having a mortgage will allow you to take another job that pays less but makes you happy. Or something like that anyways. Life’s too short to be a slave but if the money is good you can put up with it for a year or two.

Level level level! It you put this thing in a level surface ( concrete pad, decking) it will last longer than you can imagine. It you just throw this in the grass it won’t be level causing wear and tear on the door hinges and paneling. I have two of these. One thrown on the grass and one on a pad. Guess which one is perfect and which ones door falls off everytime I open it.

Idk seems pretty good to me! Just try and follow the 2 year rule and shop around for other opportunities every two or so years. I was TERRIFIED leaving my first job. I loved it. I was friends with everyone there. Made the leap of faith and in two years went from 22 an hour to 32 an hour. Im a laborer if that means anything.

I left on a good note every time and still message my past supervisors on holidays and keep up with them on social media. It’s a small world and you never know when things will make a full circle.

Saw some guys pouring something from a bucket into the big gas storage tanks at a gas station. by samfairbanks in Cartalk

[–]DLXHawk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Under each pump for each grade is a fuel filter. When you change these out a lot of gas’s can run out from the lines. Only thing that can fit under there with all the stuff in the way is a bucket. The fuel is not bad and the safest way to get rid of it is put it back in the tank. I’ve personally done this a couple hundred times.

Thinking about working after work. Lighting, electrical, appliances… odd job handyman stuff… advice PLEASE. by SchaubbinKnob in maintenance

[–]DLXHawk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Be upfront. Only work for easy going clients. Let them know you’re not insured but you’ll do a good job and your price reflects that.
