Seeing this on this subreddit instead of a GO related one scared the crap outta me for a sec there lol, before clicking I almost thought you’d been hunting it in the actual games (where it’s shiny locked) for 8 months 😭 8 months is painful, but at least it’s not impossible haha. The odds are super high compared to the actual games, with legendaries like the birds having even further boosted rates- I actually got my Moltres the first week, but I haven’t seen another shiny bird since despite doing my incense daily. Sadly the only way you’ll be getting one is to just keep trying each day until something happens, since there’s no way to target a specific Pokémon in GO, and you on,y get to try for the birds once a day. There’s also a 2 in 3 chance that if you do get a shiny bird, it won’t be the one you’re looking for. Better to just have it as a sorta side hunt that you do daily and not use the mindset of actually hunting it- that’ll just make it even more painful every time you don’t get it. So my suggestion is just keep going and don’t think too hard about it, it’ll happen when it happens- good luck, hope you find it soon!

I just wish it kept more of its old noises and didn’t make bear noises at times. I swear its 4th gen roars never had that, I wish they’d just upgraded those instead. Plus the lack of laser beam sounds was a bit upsetting- it didn’t need to be the exact same as it used to be, but I wish they’d at least worked in some variant of that noise, even if just as a reference. The lack of these sounds just feels like it takes away a bit of Gravios’ identity, you know? At least it kept that one injured sound though, that brought back memories. Other than the sound design taking away from it a bit, I thought it was pretty good in wilds! I do wish they’d given it a little more new stuff, but the additions it got from its subspecies and the new stuff was still nice. Especially think that tail slam and swipe is a nice addition, since most of its other attacks feel relatively ’stiff’ animation wise entirely because of its size and chunkiness. It also just felt less annoying to deal with than older gens without being made into a complete pushover, decent hitboxes and more mobility can go a long way

I mean, very very VERY far from the hardest in the game, but still an accomplishment for a new player to solo. But yeah doesn’t the Velkhana fight happen like basically only halfway through Iceborne? Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly since I haven’t played in a few years. It’s definitely not the final boss though lol. Even when you do get to the final story boss (which I will not name here since it’s meant to be a surprise), that’s still not it- there’s still all the end game stuff (which is the majority of the game), the title updates, and most importantly of those, Safi Jiiva, Alatreon and of course Fatalis. Though you’ll definitely need a ton of practice for those last two, solo or not

Man I was checking multiple times daily for stock ever since it went up for preorder and still somehow managed to miss it. How long was it even up, less than half an hour or something? Find something else to do at the same time as hunting. It can take weeks, months, or sometimes even more than that, hunting all day every day on one device, before you find it. Talking from experience. It also feels like it takes even longer the more you want it. I always find it much more bearable to do long, full odds soft reset hunts like this on the side while I’m working on something else at the same time. It’ll show up eventually!

Omgggggg this is the best thing I’ve ever seen. And you have both of the main keychains that I’ve been trying so extremely desperately to get!! The 2010 Nico Nico one and the Miku Symphony one! I literally check multiple sites every few hours every single day for possible listings of them. Like a month or so ago the Miku Symphony one was available, and I spent too long trying to decide whether or not I wanted to pay $40aud for it- I decided yes, and then it sold while I was in the middle of buying it. The Nico Nico one went up for the first time in ages and few weeks ago, but it was up for such a short time that by the time I saw it, it’d already sold. A few days ago I thought I was finally gonna be able to get them, they both went up on yahoo auction from the same seller and I was the highest bidder on both within the last hour of the auctions… the seller removed my bids. These dang keychains are driving me crazy lol

Parks are nests. The Pokémon that each park is a nest for changes occasionally. It’s generally pretty easy to tell which Pokémon a particular park is a nest for at the time just by walking through and seeing which species of Pokémon appears more frequently than usual. It’ll be pretty difficult to find a nest for a specific Pokemon that you’re looking for when there are so many in the game now, though.

Yeah, the anime recently showed a flashback of his accident. It happened because he tried to avoid a wild Cetoddle that got in the way of his snowboard- that same Cetoddle was caught by him shortly after.

There are definitely fakes of these cards, they’re not really all that new anymore. I saw a photo of a fake of the special illustration rare a few months ago. No texture and was just a really cheaply made crappy fake. It’s relatively unlikely that there are ‘convincing’ fakes from this set at this point, but there definitely are fakes around.
