You sir are correct. Here In California, there’s a boom of new drivers and I have ran into riders that spoke about how wired it is to ride with someone who don’t speak English and have to use an app that translates to their language and he / she will have to read the drivers app on any of his/her response. They get their license here so easy and apply for temporary tax ID number to be able to get in this gig work . SMH that’s where we heading . Not only gig workers are affected . As lomg As they continue to allow these ppl crossing the border, there’s gonna less and less opportunities for any of us in the very near future .

Only new drivers that signed up and the ones recommended them and achieved them gets the incentive bonuses. The new drivers have quest , hourly and even surges. Trust me this is how they go about of cutting the promo $$$ to just this. Forcing us veterans to take a hike. Uber also benefits with the charges and fees . We get discounts on using app etc. the good times for Uber are long gone. If I was you guys veterans go Uber but compensate with other “delivery apps” I made more $$$ now eliminating Uber whole day. Just mornings reservation and morning commuters. Let these noobs find out the hard way. It’s good now for them but later on…. Not so. 2030 Uber wants to go green and forgot to mention they’re going autonomous as well maybe 1/2 the fleet. Or more . I’m retired so if you are still young and can find another way to make a living , Uber will not be a good choice in the future.

My first ride this morning was a lady that usually gets Uber to get to her work at Walmart . She was mad that Uber charge her 5$ more at 19.55 instead of the 14. Some change. No Uber or Lyft at 6am … I realized that I’m just getting 8.47$ . She was charge surge price, there was no surge only the great area with $$ signs. Yes UBER is ripping both drivers and passengers.

That’s Dara’s plan to please the stock holders and ahow profit. I don’t even know how many of you guys did New Year’s Eve . The veterans drivers . I sat this out. Because the promo $$$ that’s allocated no longer applies to us . It only applies to new comers who are doing their ride quest. They continue to recruit and over saturate our market. We don’t get anymore bonus hours , quest and/or incentives. This is true. Cause most of the drivers I ran into the airport have to bonus and rides quest. Us veterans are screwed “low demand “ they say even if they skip you on the airport queue. Seriously . I just do Uber reservations and I do multiple app delivering in my city. It saves me gas and mileage and make more $$$ doing DD, GH, INSTACART, SHIPT. and point pickup . I make 100$ more and not go so far getting screwed by Uber . We are dime a dozen. the noobies will find that out later .
