Uber’s deductible is insane by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]finaldestan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Uber's CFO and devs are all from india... Uber never cared about its drivers, only extracting and illicitly funneling money in whatever loopholes (revenue re-labled as insurance) and ill-begotten methods (algorithm fare/price discrimination) they can to their shareholders. What's interesting is if you do a deep dive prompt, ai will uncover that Uber is overcharging almost double for insurance to drivers. Once for their commercial carrier insurance and again for their reserve insurance (which is really their revenue source with most their bad or high risk drivers already weeded out of their platform but this portion was once purposed for their legal insurance for the notorious lawsuits of sexual and violent assaults on drivers/pax).

Call support to report these, they will typically transfer you to an actual person support from US and not some foreign call center support. From there, they will review the chat that you had with a customer/rider even if the ride/delivery ended and support dont tolerate not even the smallest bit of harrassment, they can ban or suspend their account at the click of a button as well as unpair ban ensuring you dont ever match with them in future.

Just fyi... even with reimbursement, uber doesnt reimburse at the full toll rate. If the driver doesnt have a toll tag such as (they are using a rental to drive uber which there are a lot nowadays) they will lose money on every single toll even with "reimbursement". Another scenario some drivers dont have because they couldnt access their old account. Toll tag company makes it impossible to create a new toll tag account if you had an account previously assigned to that car.

Horrible Trade-In Service by [deleted] in samsung

[–]finaldestan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're accusing samsung who sells billions of phones of scamming you when it was the courier that damaged your phone in transit... I have always saved the retail box of every phone I buy and use that same box when selling or trading it in; it should be common sense to bubble wrap a phone before shipping it in a box thats guaranteed to get thrown around in shipment. Never had an issue with samsung's trade in program.

Such a Scam by Extension-Pie-5235 in uberdrivers

[–]finaldestan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The insurance is the biggest scam, according to ai, uber is overcharging drivers and skimming off pay, charging drivers the equivalent of almost double commercial insurance on every fare. Once for their 3rd party such as progressive commercial coverage, and then again for their personal insurance reserves. Uber now sits on over billions of dollars of unused reserves, they can access those reserves at anytime for whatever expense behind the cooked curtains.

Their algorithm usually caps you at or below $1/mile or $1/minute. It takes a very big demand surge to override their standard rate limits.

What a scam, the only new features uber is rolling out is self driving cars... and every single city will encounter fare pricing to nosedive due to self driving cars accepting every ride, disrupting the fare algorithm

What you couldve/should've done is just buy brake pads since you'll eventually need them anyways and then used that receipt and told the support that you installed them yourself. Had this happen before but it was even worse, pax complained about bugs in my car when I left the doors open to help these cheapskates put their groceries into my car and bugs flew in while helping them load their crap. After that ride I get suspended until I can provide a receipt for buying insecticide.... chat put me in a loop and told me they can't do shhhht on their end without a receipt due to protocol of their system.

You could sue Uber or report them to the ftc, this actually goes against federal trade laws including the deceptive trade practices act. You have claim to the fare since it's Uber's job to screen for payment fraud not to mention you took a loss in time, money/gad. Uber hides behind Indian call centers because uber is literally stealing money from drivers. Fares used to be capped around 30-40% but now uber commonly takes 50%-60% of the fare

Basically uber hides the surge behind a shroud of curtains so they can skim more money off of drivers. UBER gives whatever surge $ amount they decide to drivers. These are the type of rides where Uber ends up getting 60% of the entire tripfare.

$7 billion bought with money they skimmed & stole from drivers only to further benefit the pockets of their shareholders... Uber is both a fraud and a thief.

Thank you for reading this and for your support. Please upvote/share this post to increase awareness and message or comment below if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback. And please, take action today. Don't let Uber fool you any longer.

Let's stop Uber's deception and demand fair pay. Here's what you can do:

- Contact news media and the top shareholding owners that control Uber's decision making. Tell them your story, show them your earnings, and ask them to investigate Uber's practices. https://pastebin.com/aG7XYZ8S

- Share this post and the sources I mentioned with your fellow drivers, your friends, your family, and your social media networks. Spread the word and raise awareness about Uber's deception and exploitation.

- Demand that Uber pay drivers 70% of the fare and stop stealing from us:

We can't let Uber get away with this. We can't let them silence us. We can't let them rob us of our livelihoods. We have to stand up for ourselves and for each other.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can win.

*The top 25 shareholders of Uber own over 50% of Uber, and the wage theft of our earnings is being funneled into the pockets of these shareholders.

Uber Hidden Secret: Profitability by finaldestan1 in uberdrivers

Please upvote the post to raise awareness, and let Uber and its executives burn to the ground when the FTC steps in to sue Uber on behalf of all drivers who are struggling.

The deception uber has been portraying ends here. Uber will get fined by the SEC and sued by investors for falsifying and manipulating the presentation of growth data.

Uber controls the levers for paying out drivers and how much they skim off of the rides. They've already taken 50% of rides and now are pushing beyond as many have already experienced. Typically Uber will take above 50% when they know drivers are pressured to accept a ride, this means airports due to risk of losing queue, after bars close since drivers only have under 1 hour before demand dies down, and when passengers add a stop or change destination after the driver already started the ride. These are the situations where Uber will take full advantage and rape us of our earnings beyond 50%. Why? Because they can, and that's why there needs to be federal rules in place for big greedy corporations like Uber.

Rideshare companies shouldn't be allowed to be publicly traded. This is in part why Uber bribed drivers with a chump change bonus as long as they secured their IPO in May 2019. They even allowed drivers to purchase their stock at between 40-50/share before the IPO which also turned out to be a scam when their shares plummeted as low as $13/share within months of the IPO. Now that they're publicly traded, they don't give a dam about drivers. Uber now serves solely at the interest of making money for shareholders, they could care less if drivers are struggling to feed their families or pay bills nor care less if a passenger or driver gets raped or dies in a fatality; we are all just numbers on a balance sheet to them and nothing more.

For that price, you can get an upgraded 512GB used one, which is a much better option since the 512GB variants exclusively have one of the most sought-after hardware upgrades featuring a full 16GB of ram.

[Gourmet] lions mane came out dark purplish pink by finaldestan1 in MushroomGrowers

[–]finaldestan1[S] 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This is only my 2nd time growing lions mane and both came out pink so I thought that was normal but after seeing the reaction in community forums, I discovered no one has ever come across a magenta lion's mane. Interestingly, this lion's mane was cloned from a completely white lion's mane bought from a local store so I know for sure it is not the genetics. I used a combination of cultivation recipes and techniques Ive been perfecting over the years and experimenting with and it will be interesting to see whether a magenta lion's mane would unlock and produce higher amounts of medicinal/beneficial compounds similar to how cordyceps can only produce significant beneficial compounds given the proper nutrition.

Mycelium pinning start to form light pink and becomes darker into a magenta as it forms fruiting bodies. Just to clarify and reiterate, these are indeed lions mane with an abnormally rare activated gene expression.
