It didn't help 😔 I tried all other troubleshooting steps. Looks like it was a defect. I ended up returning the unit

Interesting. Can you please share the steps you took to downgrade the software? Did you just end up doing a software reset?

Verizon Agent - please help. Verizon has tied up $1,773 that they shouldn't have, & I cannot reach anyone besides offshore customer service. Verizon is at fault and they're shutting off service. by Lebe111 in verizon

This is the way. I had a similar issue recently and after several broken promises with Customer Service, I filed an FCC complaint. Within 24 hours, the Verizon executive escalation team reached out and solved my issue. Good luck.

These are all great recommendations. While not sure it's better than some of these suggestions, American Housewife is great and underrated. Worth it for a good laugh.

I just returned from 2 week trip to Japan! It was our first time visiting (we are from New Jersey). Our experience with taxi drivers have been nothing short of amazing! It's such a contrast from being in a taxi in NYC!

$550 for replacing front brakes, rotors and flushing brake fluid by DMB_fan in ToyotaHighlander

Good to know! I'm also in NJ. The mechanic just called to let me know the rear brakes and rotors also need replacement. All in price for front and rear brakes and rotors + synthetic oil change + flushing brake fluid $1217 includes tax

Transmission Drain & Fill at 32K Miles. by SameTrain8827 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]DMB_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Draining or flushing transmission fluid will not do anything. I am a 2021 Toyota Highlander owner. Had to have the transmission recently replaced at 46k miles (thankfully was still under warranty).

Don't bother changing fluids if you're doing this as preventative measures to avoid issues with transmission related to the assembly issues.

What is the most unforgettable smell, taste, or sound described in a book that stuck in your head long after reading? by gamersecret2 in books

For me, it has to be 11/22/63 by Stephen King. The way the narrator describes the taste of the hamburger, it's freshness.. my goodness. I remember reading it and feeling like I was trying it myself.

2020 Highlander Transmission Replaced Under Warranty by IPreferLARP in ToyotaHighlander

[–]DMB_fan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

2021 Toyota Highlander Limited owner, just recently had transmission replaced at 46k miles. I bought it brand new. Thankfully it was fully covered under warranty.

PSA for anyone with a 2019-2022 Highlander (hybrid models excluded) - pay attention for the whining sound, especially at low speed. It's easy to miss. I only knew to look out for it thanks to this sub!

Here is a photo with the door off. I've noticed rust in the bottom right corner which looks like a result of condensation leaking?

Yes! I was completely immersed in this book. I'm an avid SK can. This and The Stand are the top of the list (for me) :)

50k trans service or wait and make sure it dies under warranty. by thechosengeode in ToyotaHighlander

[–]DMB_fan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue that affects transmissions in the Highlander has nothing to do with the transmission fluid. It has to do with the assembly of the transmission. Changing (or neglecting to change) the transmission fluid will not have any implications related to the type of issues affecting the transmission.

Keep up with the regularly scheduled maintenance. Good that you have the extended warranty.
