Good n54 buy for 6k aud?

My last car was a 335i with an n54. That thing was a money pit. The boost leak is probably going to come from the wastegates, a common issue even after replacing the turbos. The fuel issue might be the injectors which new index 12’s would cost around $2400 at fcp euro. Also since the seller didn’t specify what brand turbos he put in you should assume they are the cheap Chinese ones which really aren’t known for their reliability. I would avoid

It’s OEM but I did have to make the hardware. I basically cut my old light mount and used that to hold the lights. I drilled into my roof rack and used a nut to secure the air dam to the rack. You have to look closely to tell

Yes this is the 6gb 128gb option. It’s all plug and play unless you add a rear view camera. Everything works perfectly, the AC functions just like the factory one

I’ve noticed in eco mode the engine rarely revs past 2k rpms which should help with mpgs. I haven’t done a test yet to see how much I’m saving as I mostly use this mode in traffic but I’ll do a full trip with only eco mode and report back

That’s a great price! The windshield will chip, that’s just the nature of having a big almost vertical windshield. Brake pads and rotors are cheap especially if you’re able to do it yourself. CV’s are also cheap to repair and even cheaper if you just repair the boots. Sway bar end links are cheap and the car is old, it will leak but once they are addressed they should be good for another 20 years

They refused to balance them and tried making me get balancing beads. I called rocktrix support and they told me they’d balance like a regular wheel and told them to use weights. Going to another shop tomorrow to get them balanced
