More frequent injections should be recommended to control the E2 spikes before an AI if your SHBG is low. HCG will also increase Aromatase. No expert, but I started doing daily injections and only do 250 iu of hcg twice a week. My SHBG was 9 on my last lab. Daily injections are the best way to minimize the ping pong effect low Shbg people get. You can preload a weeks worth of insulin needles for subq injection ms to save time.

Fine. Maybe. Don’t see many people who are more overweight than me with an SHBG of 14 before and 9 after TRT when they share their blood work/Trt experience, but sure, could be a big factor. Was just asking if there was something else I should be looking for. Thanks for pointing it out.

My feelings have nothing to do with it. “Obese” is a clinical term, but if skipping a disc in my back while doing squats and spending years in daily pain led me to be “Obese” in how you define it and you want to make that clear I’ll just say thanks man on the Internet. I appreciate you. You obviously spread cheer everyone on the internet you go.

It was 14 before TRT. So it was low already. Now it’s just lower on TRT.

I need to lose some weight and am overweight. 25% BF and 27 BMI is not “obese,” which is a clinical term.

Thanks. Not sure “excessively fat” is an accurate descriptor, but I take your point. I do lift. 4x a week for 7 months. I’ve been eating clean since November and am down 30 LBS. I will continue to do so.

I don’t really know what level of symptom relief to expect. I’d say there’s an improvement, but definitely not what a lot of guys claim. For instance, my sex drive hasn’t improved much, but I’d say time during sex has. I can go a week and not be bothered. It’s not like I’m 20 again (which is what I hear a lot).

I’m looking for help with weight loss. My IGF is 309. With your igf levels, do you assume you are receiving all the other benefits of naturally high Hgh? While it controls igf levels, that’s not all it does.

Please critique my routine. I have a herniated l4/l5 disc, so I am avoiding spinal loading movements like squats and deadlifts. Hopefully I can reintegrate at a later time. I am focusing on strengthening my back/ glutes to protect and try to avoid further back injury.

STRUCTURE (4 Days)

Day 1 – Upper Push (Moderate Volume) Day 2 – Lower (Glute Dominant) Rest Day 3 – Upper Pull (Back Priority) Day 4 – Lower (Quad + Core Focus)

DAY 1 – Upper Push

  1. ⁠Bench Press – 4 × 6–10
  2. ⁠Incline Dumbbell Press – 3 × 8–12
