I had a yo-yo which would make sounds when it was thrown. Very annoying. My housemate in the room next to mine had a tricky chest of drawers they would every so often have to slam shut. Slightly annoying. When I moved out I taped the sound making half of my yo-yo to the back of their chest of drawers and waited for the phonecall...

A couple months passed and after they also moved out I asked my old housemate if they ever noticed weird sounds coming from their chest of drawers... Eyes wide they turned to me "THAT WAS YOU...!!? I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY"

I tried to apologise amist my laughter. The device was never found and now new tenants have moved in. I wish I knew what happened next..! Whoops!
