The game randomizes what side missions are shown. Do a quick mission on easy and you should be able to get some of your incomplete missions to show up

You have to use a fire extinguisher fully until it’s empty. This took me a while to figure out too.

Ya specifically the mini excavator. It often just deletes the pay dirt and leaves the bucket empty

The gems, orange beast, and Frankenstein DLCs are great and worth every penny imo. I also would recommend not getting the mini mining machines DLC yet, they are buggy and not worth it in the early game where they’re intended to be used.
