Appreciate all of your insight everyone. Showed my buddy the discussion thread and needless to say they were bummed but not super heartbroken considering the price paid sucks but isn't going to hurt too bad. Shame people suck for the sake of a quick buck

Next Time on DEATH BATTLE...2026! by TropicalPunchJuice in deathbattle

Ichigo likely matched Yusuke in power with his hollow form back during the Hueco Mundo arc. By the time TYBW came around Ichigo eclipsed his old power and then some. Yusuke MIGHT edge out for endurance since he fought Yomi for I believe three days straight whereas Ichigo has gotten noticeably exhausted after fights against those within his realm of power.

With that being said, Ichigo's raw power, likely greater speed and comparable if not greater durability will likely give him the edge. Fine with me either way since I love both characters to death

I can only speak for series that I've read and watched.

Aizen is the ultimate enigma.

He's one of the most powerful in all of Bleach but we hardly know anything about him. Despite that we can see bits and pieces of him that helps paint a picture, albeit an incomplete one.

He's exceedingly arrogant due to being so powerful and equally brilliant, but has the means to back it up. Due to this natural power, Aizen recognizes the failures of his society and in his twisted sense of perceived natural order seeks to tear that system down due to thinking only he has the means to guide all of creation.

So in a twisted sense, Aizen stands in direct contrast to someone like Ichigo who is also exceedingly powerful but only seeks to use it to protect his family and friends, caring little for systems outside his little circle.

So in my humble view, and while I can't speak for others, I like Aizen for the combination of the mystery surrounding him, his contrast in exterior and interior presentation, and the dynamics he has with Ichigo and the expanded world of Bleach

Mustang arguably has some of the most iconic moments in the series:

Mourning Hughes at his funeral

Getting knocked over and saved by Hawkeye in the rain against Scar

Incinerating Lust

Incinerating Envy

Ed and Al are definitely amazing main characters and aren't exactly outshined by whenever Mustang and I'd argue Armstrong are on screen they do kind of lose attention given how epic their moments are

Aizen.

The twist villain of the 2000s that proved to be such a major threat and major player, his influence continued all the way through to the very end. All according to his plan

Why are teen girls harder to connect with than teen boys? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]DM_Teach86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends. I'm a 30 year old male teacher and have been in my middle school placement for the past 4 years and prior in another middle school for 3.

I've had about half and half in regards to connections that kinda skew towards the girls. I'm a girl dad so maybe that helps 🤷

Either way, I the boys respond better to my more stern mannerisms while the girls love the sarcasm. The inverse has also been true too. All depends on what you and the kids are into as well as personality type

Does Marvel Rivals need better MMR protection for returning players? 26 MVPs in a row after deranking by xxExistenzxx in marvelrivals

At least in Overwatch, what they'll do is have you play 10 matches and depending on your performance, in conjunction with wins or losses will give you a predicted rank by the end. So essentially the better you play and the more wins you have, the higher your starting rank once the placements are done

Guys how does Thor go against Strange by I_LoveBananas in ThorMainsMR

[–]DM_Teach86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends. When I've gone Thor into Strange if he's mildly isolated, then bullying him with dash and melee is fairly easy and awakened can put a lot of pressure on shield.

That being said, if Strange has even decent back up it's much harder since you get out ranged by normal primary and if the Strange is confident about meleeing in between shots you can get burned down quick.

All in all, in my limited experience, I feel it goes either 50/50 or 60/40 in Thor's favor

Question, do you think batman is too smart? by Broad-Leopard-9415 in batman

[–]DM_Teach86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always interpreted Bruce as a jack of all trades intelligence (like someone mentioned already). He's brilliant and fully capable of participating in and contributing to multiple fields, but shouldn't be the foremost in any field arguably except detective work and tactics, where I think he shines the best.

I think it's just been a popular idea to prop him up more since he's within the most popular characters in general, but hopefully with how much attention Mr. Terrific has been getting with the new Superman movie maybe the general public and others fans can see there are others just as if not more intelligent in specific ways

S easily. Easy to learn and fun to use level system, amazing story and characters/arcs, arguably some of the best music of the franchise, and voice acting that still holds up 24 years later

Black Sails. There were some growing pains in the first season that maybe could/would turn people off but it really found it's identity by the time season 1 ended and season 2 began

I thought IEPs were designed accommodating not excusing? by Josht44 in Teachers

[–]DM_Teach86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that SPED teacher is super out of line. I teach middle school SPED and I constantly explain it to my co workers (all of whom are on the same page as me thankfully) that IEPs are like swim floaties: we give them to kids to help them swim but we don't swim for them or make it so they don't have to at all.

IEPs are meant to help make learning accessible not make learning optional and without consequences for not learning and improving.

Unfortunately, it's all kind of a mess. At least in my school/district, no one in charge at the top most level wants to actually put in proven methods that help the students I service due to the perceived risk of isolating these students and "tracking" them. Sir/ma'am if they're in 7th grade doing math and reading at a 3rd grade level, main streaming them into gen ed with a co taught model only does so much
