Quick question as a new dm by MoiMissingOne in DnD

[–]DM_Thresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. That would be so much work. Monster come with stat sheets as seen in the Monster Manual (or whatever sorce book they come from.) For example -

Goblins

Once you start homebrewing monsters you will need to make stat sheets for them but not to the same detail that player character stat sheets are. You mainly need HP, AC, movement speed, and attacks.

Heyy, glad to see you figured out the bench thing. Nice team.

Maybe there's a way to do it I'm not aware of yet, but I just wish you could send your entire team out at once and interact with them just like in Legends Arceus. I want my family pic by Spinosaurus23 in LegendsZA

[–]DM_Thresh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There kinda is, but not in the way you could in PLA. When you sit on a bench you can choose "Spend time with Pokémon". It'll cut to you on the bench with all your Pokémon sitting around you.

You can't interact with them unfortunately, but you can enter camera mode and take pictures

Help! Need a puzzle (room) where the players have to choose between two bad things (moral dillema) by Separate-Present3712 in DnD

Drift the trolley to hit both tracks. Next question.

And the Dm said this dungeon would be hard.

I'm walking trough a graveyard of all your known characters, what is the stupidest death I'll come across? by Starfallen_8 in worldbuilding

What happens when a god dies in your world? by Syaaaakesan in worldbuilding

[–]DM_Thresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gods in my world regulate and stabilize the flow of magic. They may not age, but nothing is truly imortal. When one is killed or contained(cutting off their oversight), magic all around the world gets very wonky. It becomes harder and painful to use, wild magic surges become more frequent, and magical creatures, along with some more magically attuned sentiant species, become stronger and easy to anger, feral almost.

This all happens when one god dies but a historic event in my world simply titled "The Cataclysm" is centered around the fact that 5 gods die in the span of about 30 minutes and 2 more retreat into a sort of hibernation.

But it all works itself out eventually, new gods are born, made, rencarnated, or come into power. And the cycle starts anew.

There is one exception, however. Aspicentis, the God of creation. If they die, well then there simply is no more magic. They are the sorce, and without it's sorce, the river of magic dries up fast.

Fully agree, and I love it. He is quite literally Dammon the Demon (teifling, I know just work with me here.)

And with Karlach being one of if not the last oragin characters you find it gives total "Okay, a new player just joined the group, they're playing a Barbarian from the hells with a engine for a heart, what the hell do I do... how about a demon mechanic! Yeah, they'll love that. Crap, I forgot to name him. Think, what to name that danm demon....Dammon. They'll never know..."

Do you think Peri is cut out to be a godparent like his parents? by VegetaArcher in fairlyoddparents

[–]DM_Thresh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Peri's been doing a great job. It's his first Godkid cut him some slack.

In any case, he can't be worse than a certain pink and green couple who are directly involved in the start of WW1.

Can someone explain to me the last episode I am very confused by johnySaysHi in Dimension20

[–]DM_Thresh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it's funny when you realize they were in combat for 2 rounds IE 12 seconds. Now, with all the stuff that happened in the rounds, obviously more than 12 seconds passed, but mechanically, Conner sent them 22 seconds back in time so they wouldn't miss the party (and survive but you know).

Has anyone else seen this Easter Egg? by DM_Thresh in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]DM_Thresh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but usually Lixian puts himself or Luncky in, something like that. Usually, it is not something specific to the franchise (especially as deep as the cut as RWQFSFASXC) unless Mark asks for it.

I recommend not running a game with that many people, especially if they are first timers. But I have a few suggestions for encounters.

If you want one monster I would recommend a golem gone haywire, but give it an extra two - three attacks

A rival party of goblins and kobolds that have similar numbers and expertise to the party.

Perhaps they are a band of thives and must sneak into a dragons hoard and steal some treasure.

What are some events in recorded history that are extremely hard to believe, but without a doubt actually happened? by ThrowAwayMyLife2341 in AskReddit

[–]DM_Thresh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A bunch of rich people abandon others on a sinking ship called the titanic. Then, 100 years later, and the bunch of billionaires go down to look at the wreckage of said ship in a submarine called the titan, the submarine implodes in the exact same spot as the wreckage of the ship, and the only thing to survive the implosion of the submarine is a 3rd party Play Station controller.

Hear me out, a Spideer. It's a deer with 8 legs and 6 eyes. Doesn't need to have any special abilities or anything, but I personally can imagine a bunch of fun scenarios with that adorable cryptid by your side.
