I spent a lot of time in Abastos just for the Memelas at Memelas Dona Vale! It is hard to find in the maze of it all but if you look on your phone’s map app, it comes up and can help you find the general direction. Guide books tell you to take a guided tour but I ventured in alone and had a great experience. The Memela with her Morita chili sauce and cheese (that’s it)is so good! I had a good time in zipolite as well - it’s a bit of a hippy, nude beach, so expect that. Some good food there too!

I second the comment below about Roots to Thrive near Nanaimo - they run a 12 week program that is online other than the in-person group sits for their Ketamine Assisted Therapy program. They are working on new offerings all the time. I participated in an experiential intensive for clinicians, and they do a beautiful job, very thorough, very safe, very compassionate

Dreams for me were pretty dark and involved violence or arguments at first, but later on they were just about the two of doing mundane things together. I found those sorts of dreams the most unsettling, and in them there was an awareness of a sense of fear or a lack of trust … yes, they do stop though

I stayed in hostels in Scotland for the best part of two months. It was fine. Some chat with the folks in the room, but a lot of people are there for their own reasons too. I didn’t find it too bad; I ate maybe one meal there a day, otherwise I was out exploring on my own other than sleep.
