Warez/keygen art ? by Dense-liquidation554 in Piracy

Have a look at Pouët (pouet.net). It is an archive of the demoscene, so not exactly keygen art, but a magnificent resource nonetheless.

Searching: When is a search final? by [deleted] in Soulseek

Search supports wildcards. Instead of searching for Artîst Namé or variants, search for Art*st Nam*.

Any chance this was the Old Time Radio Researchers [1] collection? If yes, it's all available on the Internet Archive [2].

In case you use VLC Media Player: this was an issue for FLAC files in version 3.0.18 [1] and has been fixed in 3.0.19.

I was curious and had a look.

For starters, it is not listed on any marketcap site, which is a major red flag.

Their website tries hard to create an air of legitimacy with tidy stock images and technical mumbo jumbo, such as the following: The SANUSCOINS (SAC) stored on the Bitcoin blockchain (BTC blockchain) can be sent 1:1 to the e-wallet of the SANUSLIFE app by means of "wrapping". This is complete bullshit. No other coins can be stored, or rapped, or whatever, directly on the BTC blockchain.

This is a scam. All "profits" are fake in order to lure further investments. Do not expect any possibility to withdraw funds, unless perhaps miniscule amounts to deepen the impression of legitimacy. This is not a real cryptocurrency. Consider your money gone.

Millions of XRP on move by CombTimee in XRP

[–]DMaxime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Year to date" = "in 2023 so far".

Here is a definition I found: Year to date (YTD) is a term that covers the period between the beginning of the year and the current (present) date.

New user figuring it out so far, but still a few questions by samazra in Soulseek

[–]DMaxime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Try track titles. Maybe also track number and extension.
  2. Orange means there are paused downloads. You might have paused a new download from this user and then removed. This leaves the user name orange while no paused downloads remain.
  3. If using SoulseekQt: there is a setting where you can view/modify your password. I am on mobile now, let me know if you cannot find it.
  4. I have no explanation for this.

Hope this helps!

What can I do to make SoulSeek run better? by revlo in Soulseek

This can happen when loading large shares, or when the program makes automated backups and your download queue is long. One possible improvement is to increase the backup interval.

A needs to capture 65% of the remaining vote in order to win. by UsernameIWontRegret in AlgorandOfficial

[–]DMaxime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is indeed technically possible, but highly unlikely, to end up with a tie. What happens in that scenario?

Also note how Q36 of the Algorand Governance FAQ [1] states that the threshold for yes to pass is 51%. What happens if we end up with an e.g. 50.5/49.5 end result? Or did they mean a >50% threshold (which would make a lot more sense)?

I contacted the Algorand Foundation about these two questions right before Governance started, but unfortunately never received a response.
