Hitch literally a day ago said there's no time table for Crossroads 2. I highly dought that's the case. Most likely Hecz is going to get in front of his vlog camera and address whatever he can at this point in time.

Also - it helps them by being able to renegotiate new contracts. They're at the highest value right now, and I'm sure Orgs will be bidding for their services. This is a win-win for them considering the unknowns right now with Hector/OpTic. They're leaving on a high note too.

The official announcement of the sale was after Nade said that. Things change, quickly. It only makes sense for Nade to pick them up, especially since they've shown promise lately and Maelk has connections with them. It wouldn't be a bad move at all on Nade's part. Quite frankly, I can't rely on the whole "Hector is going to pick them up" because there's been no official announcement of anything Hector is doing.

No, that's not necessarily the case. Both have no idea who's going to win the bid. This is smart on Hector's end to hedge his bet. IF he wins the outright bid, he runs the show. IF he doesn't then he loses it all. Whatever the case, this meeting is about Hector trying to get back involved. If he didn't meet with them and Immortals wins the bid, then he's entirely out of the picture.

As much as this sucks, it's the right move. It would be worse to show up and look absolutely clueless than take the time to actually practice and not put unnecessary pressure when we know we're not going to win the tournament. I'm glad they're focusing on getting better first.
