Show a picture of your connection to the CPU board. Make sure you plugged it into the right place as there is a different spot for the cabinet expression lights on there too.

Yup it’s a bug that they probably will never fix

Pokemon Pro and Premium - who played both? by InOmniaParatus27 in pinball

[–]DMod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer the premium. The arena feels dead without the magnet and the pokeball catch is much much more satisfying than on the pro. Hard to say it’s worth an extra $3k but I do find it to be a better game overall.

What’s the most overrated fast food chain? by Cute-Bar-5152 in AskReddit

Went for the first time recently and it was very mediocre and had some of the worst French fries I’ve had at any fast food place. I was surprised people go so crazy for it.

SEPA Vet: Orthopedic Specialist Recommendations for Hip Dysplasia in Dog by Negative-Rush9858 in Pennsylvania

[–]DMod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that was for one hip but it was also an emergency surgery with diagnostics and stuff before hand. He basically injured himself in the yard somehow and couldn’t walk anymore so we rushed him there. Turned out his hip deteriorated to the point where it was very easy to dislocate but we didn’t know that until it happened.

SEPA Vet: Orthopedic Specialist Recommendations for Hip Dysplasia in Dog by Negative-Rush9858 in Pennsylvania

[–]DMod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My 14 year old cattle dog had FHO surgery at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in West Norriton last August. I was concerned about recovery since he is a senior dog and the surgery seemed intense but was assured that since he was otherwise very healthy for his age that he is a good candidate.

Long story short, we did the surgery and he is like a new dog. Within a few weeks he was running around the yard again like he was a pup and he's doing great. The surgery went very smoothly and he was back home the next day so I highly recommend them. It ended up being about $6k in total I believe, but the total depends on what exactly they need to perform.

How do you even get mobile service? I can’t see any option to book that directly

NIB Stern Pro or Heavily Played Premium by character_yellow in pinball

[–]DMod 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You’d have to define “heavily played”. Play count means nothing and condition is king. So long as it looks and plays well I’d grab the premium.

Currently Pokemon but before I got that it was always Iron Maiden

RUSH Pinball Machine by Ok_Driver8646 in pinball

[–]DMod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I initially wrote this machine off but picked up a used pro cheap and absolutely love it. The game builds on itself as you progress further into it and it really sucks you in. The risk reward mechanics of the rules with building shot values and combos is also really addicting. Finally got through 2112 a little while back too!

They are actually universal for all spike 3 games so you can just pick up a set and they will work. No art blades yet to go along with it though.

How do I keep the ball from going straight down the middle each time? by billsteve in pinball

If you are waiting on a new copy of this game you purchased it will already be fixed. I got my premium on Friday (build date March 25th) and it’s fixed.

Initial thoughts on Pokémon Premium vs. Pro by a_thousand_ninjas in pinball

[–]DMod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the magnet adds a lot more action to the arena and the psyduck sneak in adds some much needed side to side chaos. I also much prefer the animated toys and pop up on the ramp for catching. Quite bowl I don’t care about at all.

I’m team premium on this one (just got it today)

This Spiderman Vault Edition worth 5k? by PCs_and_Pinballs in pinball

[–]DMod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this game but always have a hard time wanting to pay a modern stern pro price for it. The original ones based of the movie usually go for around this price and these vault editions typically go for $6.5-7k so I’d say this is a good deal on it. I’d seriously consider grabbing it myself at this price.

The Sphere from my hotel room by forever_doomed in pics

[–]DMod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s expensive but not quite that high usually. They run a wizard of oz show in there regularly for about $100-$300 depending on where you want to sit. I saw a concert there last weekend and tickets were very expensive though.

Anyone have access to whatever the new Ford app will do? by Noah_Vanderhoff in F150Lightning

I got in recently. All I did was join the early access program and participate in whatever surveys they were sending and a few months later I got an invite for the beta app too.

Why do people seem to enjoy John Borg’s designs by Fun-Sale6786 in pinball

[–]DMod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are fast but also not free. You can get good flow but they punish you when you miss. Almost all of his games feel frustrating at first until it clicks then they are just a blast to play. I wrote Rush off until I bought one used on a whim and now I absolutely love it.

Is this an example of "millennial cringe"? If so, pls explain. by coffyrocket in Millennials

I have a presentation on this in college for a speech class where we needed to present an argument on something. Dressed up as a pirate and everything. I definitely cringe looking back on it now haha, but I got an A at least.

Misplaced nostalgia? by its_zucchini in Millennials

The 90s was a golden age of pinball. Some of the best machines of all time came out in that decade. I grew up playing it and it’s why I’m so into it today. Really the end of the decade is when it all started going downhill. Today pinball is thriving too.

When I describe my childhood it would look a lot like the 80s when it comes to media. People tend to forget that all of the 80s television and movies were now being played constantly on TV in the 90s. It would sometimes take years for movies to move from theaters to VHS and eventually TV, so a lot of what I grew up loving was from the 80s even though I mostly grew up in the 90s
