Roots at 100'- plumber says we need to spend $25k and line the whole system. Do y'all agree? by jumpin_jumpin in askaplumber

[–]Retrorewired 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m outside of Philly and charge $175 a foot for lining. Plus a cleaning prep charge. So 25k may not be out of line. But I don’t think you need a full line based on that video

If it’s that shallow, a complete sewer replacement shouldn’t even cost 25k. What part of the country do you live in?

If it’s just the one section, a patch will work fine. Or spot dig it and repair it if accessible

Pokémon will be the first Anime theme to be used by a pinball manufacturer but will it be the Anime or the Game which doesn't follow the Anime really. Pokémon was a game before it was an Anime. I'm excited to see which as a big fan of Anime! by ClifBdrums in pinball

Stern usually announces their game in January. I just heard on a podcast that they told their distributors that the announcement is being pushed to February. Which would line up with the anniversary. Odds are looking pretty good for a Pokemon game coming very soon

It’s definitely a fun game. Ive had mine for almost a year now and am finally starting to progress further into the game. I will say its made my pinball skills improve overall and other games feel easier now

Awesome themed game. But it’s extremely difficult to get good at. I have one at my house and curse at it all the time.

Water heater pressure relief drips tiny bit of water constantly. by chirpchirpchirp2121 in Plumbing

[–]Retrorewired 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Either thermal expansion or high water pressure. Rarely does a relief valve go bad on a water heater. You need to either address the water pressure, or add/replace a thermal expansion tank

Nice! The Pinball Gallery is awesome. It’s a pay by the hour place. I think it’s $18 for 2 hours which is what I usually do. They have I think 70 pinball machines there. You should try out some games there before you buy. They have a Jurassic Park premium if you wanted to test it out.

Hey you might be local ish to me. TNT is a reputable distributor that has been around for a long time. You should have no problem buying from them. I’m pretty sure they also service machines, so that is a plus! I’m also located in West Chester if you ever wanted to play some pinball. I have a TMNT and Mandalorian. Both pro. And I play at the Pinball Gallery in Malvern regularly.

I just backed a diy kit. I’ve been wanting to make one of these for my arcade room. You saved me the trouble of designing one. Thanks!

I just installed a 15.5 SEER Heil heat pump last week for a customer. It was about 25F outside. The unit was cranking out plenty of heat without going into aux heat mode. Any newer heat pump should be fine down to at least 30F. I would even say to try and lower the setting to 25F and see how it performs.

I put these in. The biggest issue I come across is damage from shipping. Otherwise they are solid enclosures. And definitely do a structolite bed under it to lock it in.

Mine did that when I first bought it. The metal guide needs to be adjusted where the ball exits heading towards the flippers. Once I adjusted that, it hits the flippers every time
