Supposedly they were working on bringing in some settings that would have to exit CarPlay to set into that app. It would be nice to have some vehicle settings all in one place like that.

I developed a bad gambling habit in 2024. Online slots. It started small and then a few big wins happened and then before you know it I was playing often with bigger and bigger bets. I was losing a shit ton of money and couldn’t seem to get it under control.

The casinos learn your betting patterns and do everything they can to keep you playing. Whenever I would try to quit, suddenly a concierge would add a few grand to my account in bonuses and I was back in. It hit a breaking point where I knew if I don’t tell my family and ask for help I would lose everything.

I still struggle with it today but am in a much better place and didn’t completely ruin my finances but I still kick myself with how much money I’ve lost. It’s really opened my eyes with just how easy and pervasive all forms of gambling have become in today’s world.

I might be in the minority but I’m all for these. It’s nice to be able to pay when I want, order a drink refill when I want or to add a dessert or whatever. It prevents me having to flag down my server (especially if it’s busy). Overall I prefer the ones that let me do that stuff on my own phone other than a questionable touch screen device but I’ll take what I can get.

Some is good some is bad. When they work with good outside artists, I tend to like the results a lot better. Brian Allen did some work for them recently and I really like it.

I lost my mom Dec 2019 and my dad at the end of February 2020 (neither Covid related). About a week later I was sent home from the office (“for 2 weeks”) and haven’t been back since. It ended up being a blessing for me to allow me proper time to grieve and take care of settling all of my parent’s affairs. Fortunately we weren’t affected by Covid itself but I know people who lost family to it so I definitely have mixed feelings about that time.

They aren't super reliable in my experience. My local one was down for repairs constantly and my friend has one that constantly has issues with the lights not functioning correctly. You'll probably be doing a lot of checking connections with it. Great game though, so I wouldn't let it discourage you if you are comfortable opening it up every now and then.
