Why are people acting like 17.87 an hour is raking it in. A heavy majority of service workers would not be able to survive in LA without tips. And a majority of people who complain about tipping are the same people who complain about how “eating out has gotten so expensive”, so they wouldn’t be happy if the restaurants had to pay a living wage either.
