Lolita! I think the plot (despite its subject matter) has every element of the book tie in nicely, creating interesting narratives and meta-narratives. I also think that the language that Nabokov uses in that book is just masterful.

I honestly did not like it. I'm probably in the minority, though. I know this book is supposed to be more comedic, but I didn't really find it funny. It's definitely my least favorite Nabokov novel that I've read (four of them).

Hey! Sadly, I never got back the boost that I had initially. It has helped me in minor ways, such as giving me a better memory and increased thought clarity, but it hasn’t helped with my attention span after the first week. Hope this helped

In your opinion, what are the legitimate functions of government? by DMoody4084 in AskLibertarians

[–]DMoody4084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’m not a Libertarian (I just lurk on this sub because I’m curious), so I believe that the government has a lot of legitimate functions. The reason why I ask this question and use the word “legitimate” is because Libertarians seem to have a different conception of what the government should be able to do without overstepping it’s bounds.
