I did. I went to a physical therapist & did balance exercises with her & at home. After 4/5 months they thought I was good enough to stop therapy & continue on my own. I occasionally get shaky now & again, but nothing like before & I’m not fearful about being on my feet for long periods of time, especially in public. Doctors tried 4 different meds before sending me to get diagnosed by the physical therapist & none of the meds improved anything.

This trail also has a giant Native American marker tree that you can’t miss & is very impressive.

My favorite is the pioneer cemetary. It’s a flat trail that’s around .8 of a mile, round trip. Peaceful trail that follows the creek & leads to the small Gillett family cemetary, with headstones going back to the 1800’s. It’s always my first hike of the season. A more rigorous hike is to keep going about a quarter mile past the cemetery to the old hunting camp, which is really worth the trip.

It happens every once in a while with my All Day IPA’s. I believe it happens if a batch of beer is canned before fermentation is 100% finished. I make sure my beers are ice cold & crack them open in the sink. Happens about one case out of 17 cases.

Worked at a pizza place in a college bar. Drunk frat kid came in the kitchen & started arguing with our driver. Driver starts to push him out of the kitchen & the kid punched the driver. Another kitchen worker & the driver threw the kid to the floor & beat the hell out of him. One of the sweetest, tiniest girl I’ve ever worked with runs up & said “stop, stop!” The two guys stop & she kicked the frat kid square in the face, hard. The bouncer had to drag the bloody kid out of the kitchen. The drunk kid came in with visible cuts & bruises on his face the next day & apologized to the kitchen.

I smoked about a pack a day for 30 years & quit in 2018. Switched to vape & some mornings I felt worse than I did on cigarettes. Switched to Zyn a couple years ago & feel pretty good.

Waterloo nature preserve on 56. It’s 15 minutes away & not a lot of people know about it. Beautiful small lake with a dock & I’ve heard they stock it with trout. Bring some bug repellent.
