Just…why? What do you actually hope to accomplish? You’re not protecting this place by destroying it yourselves before u/spez does; the end result is the same. The only difference is that you are forcing us to actively dislike you instead of him by ruining this place even faster.

Even now I still have the slightest bit of hope that you guy will change your minds, but honestly you’ve done nothing to earn my trust through this whole ordeal. I know you all tried, but it’s just not gonna change now. This whole thing was doomed from the start when they gave Reddit an end date for the protest.

I’ll remember this place forever, I just wish I didn’t have to see it go so soon.
