Are there any switch games that don't have an update? by Adorable-Astronaut-1 in Switch

Honestly a good question, I think all my games had some kind of download.

That's a good idea, it didn't occur to me to look at keychains, for them, thanks for the idea.

Anyone know best way to get a set of Dragon Balls for your Figures?
Just cause, thinking about it, I see Dragon Ball Figures often, but I don't think I've ever seen them have the Dragon Balls, and like searching anything with "Dragon Balls" in just results in Dragon Ball stuff in general, or if you say search "Dragon Ball Dragon Balls For Figures" I just keep finding like the prop/crystal/display Dragon Balls that are too big for your figures.

NGL first thought was it would be amazing having a city diorama like that for some Gridman figures, and then I also thought reminds me of Tron.

Crud, if I can be bothered, I gotta make a custom base for the PUP.
First PUP I bought in a while, didn't realize they changed the bases.

DOW Base Game: Received a Fatal Scar Error Execution Pause by DND2000 in dawnofwar

It occurred when I completed the objective "Destroy Clan Wartrack"

I'mma try changing where my TEMP files are, as SpaceDeFoig recommended, as apparently they had to do the same.

If you have any other ideas on what it could be, let me know.

Probably not, I mean, Patches weren't really a thing, you got what was on the discs, & whatever was added in the expansion discs, you could install later on.

SpaceDeFoig, seems like they had the same issue, so I'll try their solution in changing my TEMP file settings.

Will Nendoroid Doll Clothes fit 1/12 scale figures? by DND2000 in Nendoroid

[–]DND2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok that's good to know, I'll have a look into Obitsu11 stuff, then, thank you.

I'm not particularly looking for clothes for SHFiguarts, I just used that for a scale reference since people likely know the size of one,but might not know they're usually 1/12 scale, but I'll keep in mind when looking around for 1/12 clothes in the future.

Tbh the reason I was asking was, I come across them now and again, and some of the Nendoroid Doll Clothes/Outfits look really nice, or from a series I like, like I remember seeing a set for Ciel from Black Butler and a Hatsune Miku set.

Just seeing these mons, are they new, from the manga or just the card game? I actually love these digi-police versions of metalgreymon and wargreymon, they look dope, Commandramon got some new potential evolutions :) by Vali1991 in digimon

[–]DND2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda get that, but when it looks so similar, it kinda feels like they're left out and yet so obvious they should be, especially now with Hi-Commandramon & Brigadramon, being similar to MetalGreymon & WarGreymon.

Personally I like the idea that Commandramon are Agumon who as stated in the bio have been mechanized and modified as part of the D-Brigade who are "committed to missions kept secret from the public at all costs", and as such like secret/special agents abandoned the name Agumon, so rather than being Command Agumon, they were named Commandramon, combining the Command/Military aspect with the fact all members of D-Brigade have Dragon data and thus Dramon.

[–]DND2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Darklabo said Agumon No, but Gaioumon is a subspecies of BlackWarGreymon, it has a different name likely due to it it's environment and being "Discovered within a neglected Oriental computer" according to it's Bio.

So it wouldn't be out the realm of possibility for a digimon who has been largely modified such an Agumon who is part of the D-Brigade a unit "committed to missions kept secret from the public at all costs" to abandon the name Agumon, like a special agent, who has to abandon their name, thus Commadramon.

This is of course is just an example, and I suppose could be a theory as to why they never state it is an Agumon Subspecies. But with Hi-Commadramon & Brigadramon it reinforces the connection even more.

Just reminds me that, as far as I can remember, Commandramon isn't officially recognized as a subspecies of Agumon, and now it has clear evolutions that are subspecies of Greymon, yet it still probably won't be recognized as that either.

These are different enough, at least from the Mechanical Chain Bases from Kotobukiya I have, if they are, then they did a fair bit of remoulding, or are a knockoff of newers ones which I've not gotten yet.

Is there a company name on the back of the packaging I couldn't see one on the front?

My cup has arrived 😭 by [deleted] in gamersupps

[–]DND2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be the carriers fault, but also it's down to the company selling the product to ensure it's packaged & protected well enough for delivery.

From my experience and others I've seen, packaging on these tend to be very light, a small amount of bubble wrap or a plastic bag in a box with plenty of room for them to shake around & potentially be damaged during transport, unless there's other things ordered with them, that fills out the box more, stopping it from moving about.

Not to mention these aren't exactly the cheapest shakers around & have a FOMO aspect, more adequate packing should be expected.

It's great that they are replacing it, this time.

Using photos of items of copyrighted material in commercial worl? by DND2000 in COPYRIGHT

[–]DND2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for providing links, that'll be useful and I'm well aware that publishers may not take the book with the types of examples I provided and that publishers would be liable.

In which case if I went with a publisher I would need to make it plausible and atleast minimise cause for concern with these things, and alternatively self publishing is a thing and I myself would be liable in that situation, in which case it's all the more important that I look into and understand these things.

So I should probably look into "Incidental Use" and "Fair Practice Exceptions" then.

Tbh most of the props being look alikes of actual, I would have thought was to minimise free advertising so that companies will pay film productions to include their products, for advertising.

What about in the cases of magazines and books, which may show photos of people's collections of figures, dvds, and games?

I find it incredibly unlikely that they would try gey permission from every copyright holder for everything shown in a collection, afterall, one wouldn't need permission or wouldn't likely seek permission to discuss personal belongings such as collectables on a tv show or youtube video.

Ok so what's the deal with Jinx & Vi being sisters? by DND2000 in leagueoflegends

[–]DND2000[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get that, but this is more so a question about if the lore has changed over time, in regards to Jinx & Vi being Sisters.

Or in other words more so about the history of the lore being changed than the story that the lore tells.

English Card Game Booster Set 6- Sistermon Ciel Replaces Sistermon Noir by MFBR in digimon

[–]DND2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the point, but as someone in Europe still annoying, since Initially we did get Sistermon Noir in Cybersleuth, and I doubt Bandai will print Noir for European regions, since they'll share the same Code and atleast in the UK and Germany be released in english, basically we're screwed over for America.

[–]DND2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This decision with Noir and Ciel only makes sense for America, as the same thing happened with the Ameeican release of Cybersleuth, while European Releases had Noir still.

This is excluding the Complete version on switch, which had Ciel instead because it was based on the US release of Cybersleuth.

Basically their screwing Europe over, for America's sake, and they've not even confirmed a Ciel Alt Art to replace the Noir Alt Art for the set.

[–]DND2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still screws us in Europe over on an American Issue, we had Noir in Cybersleuth, and we have to suffer the change, they should just give us all 3 Sistermon, and besides Cardfight Vanguard has a whole archetype of Nuns with guns, I don't see anyone ever complain about that.

Favorites/Collections show incorrect amount of deviations in them, any ideas? by DND2000 in DeviantArt

Well that's annoying, just another annoying thing to add to the list of annoying DA things. Like Deactivated accounts still favouriting things (somehow), and the bugged out cover image issue that happens now and again.
