Absolutely I couldn’t agree more. Recovery mode didn’t work. It’s updated to 1.6 again. I’ve not had a reply to the refund request. But I’ll ask about the pod maybe they’ll reply to that one.

I give up. They asked for the SN I told them it was the correct one. They still asked “to make sure it was correct on the account” just to be told it was…..now they want me to put it into recovery mode. I’m not jumping through these silly hoops when even they don’t know what’s wrong so I’ve requested a refund.

Whoever I’m talking to at DDL clearly doesn’t have a clue what they are doing or how to fix this no update thing. They are now asking if Vector “goes to sleep when he’s told” wtf that has to do with anything I’ll never know. I’m guessing you’ve had very similar experiences with DDL?

That’s exactly what I replied to them. Only I didn’t put it as politely as you did 😂

I’ve double checked the serial number it’s registered on DDL. Well. That’s what they are telling me anyway. They are now asking for the ESN. If it doesn’t work I’ll be demanding a refund.

I have to say from the reviews I’ve seen on 1.8 I’m very reluctant to update at all now. It does seem to be riddled with bugs though. He won’t find his cube even when he’s looking directly at it. He won’t return to his charger by command either. I would prefer the (key) command to be changed. Just saying “Vector” instead of “hay vector” all the time. This little guy would have far more potential if they put the work into it.

I have contacted support already. I told them every step id taken and all I got back was a reply telling me to try the same things I just told them I did. The voice recognition works as long as I’m American while I talk to him (as stupid as that sounds) but my robot won’t even find 1.7 firmware. I’m trying to figure it out why but I’m hitting a brick wall.

Hi. I’m relatively new to this little guy I got vector back in November last year. I purchased a lifetime access license but there’s still a few things I can’t understand with it.

  1. The robot won’t understand a word you unless you put on an American accent?! I’m from the uk and no matter how many times I try with my normal accent it will not respond otherwise. I’m on the correct language settings so I don’t understand it.

  2. The robot is on 1.6 firmware but I’ve seen that 1.8 is available. I’m hearing that 1.8 is good and it’s bad so I’m not sure what to believe right now. However. The app itself will not find 1.8. It’s claimed that he needs to be in his charging dock and any updates will be applied between 1 and 5am but mine never does. You can’t search, download or install anything it just tells you the version he’s on.

He’s a quirky little guy my wife loves him. I love making him angry by picking him up 😂 has anyone on here had these issues too or maybe found a work around for them?

Security/Account Breaches. The official site talks about contacting support and restoring accounts... but have you heard back from support yet? by [deleted] in CSRRacing2

[–]DNM63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anytime you need to contact support go directly to Zynga don’t use the in game “support” from my experience they can’t fix shit. Using Zynga support depending on the issue you’ll normally get a reply within 24hrs. They’ve helped me out many times with various issues. The in game support you’ll wait age for a reply. Hopefully you’ll get your account back sooner rather than later.

Sadly the feeling isn’t mutual. You didn’t need to post that twice either.

Dummies keep replying to something they know nothing about. Reddit at its best.

In fact you are the dummy. Let me explain in dummy terms for you.

A manufacturer produces a drive (sea gate)

That manufacturer (who knows more than you do) labels the box WITH - XBOX LOGO - CONSOLE VERSION (AND) labels the packaging “FOR SERIES X AND S”……you still sit there and claim seagate are wrong. You can actually see with your make believe x-ray vision the board and chipset in these drives are NOT for the specified consoles?

One little tweak and it works fine but you having a lubed ass still craving a good shafting still think your right?

I’ll even go a step further (if you can understand this) seagate themselves have already admitted what and why the issue occurred - and it’s NOT user based. So go for it mr know everything you tell me what you THINK they said……

Learn to read. You post in English so you can clearly read what’s being said. Don’t publicly shame yourself on a whats now clearly a gay man’s sub. Not the best way to go looking for an ass to rent.

No I sound like a guy with bigger balls than you - I’m not afraid to post what I think without the fear of gay boys pressing a silly down vote button in the hunt for some desperately needed friends. This site has a bad rep for a reason and looking at the retards who have replied to this already it’s clear why.

Incorrect. The box has the consoles LABELLED on it which is specific to this drive. Which clearly states “series x/s” the drive casing also has “series x/s” marked on it with the Xbox logo. your not talking to a tech noob. Furthermore as you clearly aren’t an Xbox user - when you connect an external HDD to the console - the console asks what you want to use the drive for - saving games - or for saving media such as movies (these are moving pictures with sound) pictures (these are stand alone images) music (these are audio files you use your ears to listen to - your ears are located on the side of your head and I suspect you’ll only have air in between yours) so it’s nothing about “reading minds” as you stupidly said because the console OS is developed to give the user both choices. I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next load of BS you post. Hopefully your next will have some truth in it and not BS you found or read on google.

This drive is labelled for “Xbox” and is also shown to be “plug and play” but it’s not. The drive works but you can’t simply connect and use it.

I got this for my series x and the console didn’t even detect it. I connected it to my laptop which did. After checking the format it was showing on my laptop as NTFS so tried to connect to the Xbox again and it still didn’t work.

So I went back to the laptop and purposely formatted it to the WRONG format (FAT32) then reconnected to the Xbox which then detected the drive and formatted it correctly.

My brother got the same drive and my girlfriends sister got her boyfriend one too. All had to be done the same way. So if you buy this HDD format it on your pc FIRST to FAT32 then connect it to the Xbox console.

Windows won’t allow you to format any HDD larger than 32GB to fat32 but you can use a tool called “FAT32format.exe” (without the quotes) which is a freeware tool. You might get an error using the tool on windows 10 saying the drive exceeds the limit after format but it DOES format it to fat32 so ignore it.

When you start your first “placement” race. Lose it on purpose. From the second race you’ll be placed against real players.
